Hi guys,
Here's a datasheet for all you guys with little stompas lying about. Whether its an old epicast, scratchbuild, or even a Mr. Potatohead , there is always room for a mob of little stompas here and there in an Apocalypse game.

These guys are not very hard, but are pretty cheap. Just what the doctor ordered. Make a group of them out of junk lying around your house, and have at it!
These rules are designed to be pretty basic, and straight forward, so please feel free to test them out and let me know if you think the little Digga-stompa is to hot, to cold, or just right. Based on the feedback on the Great Gargant, I shouldn't have long to wait :)
Enjoy everybody,

swet, actual rules for my epicast stompa. im actually gonna use the mekboy stompa rules for mine, just make a lifta droppa arm and give it a go.
nice rules. are you gonna add rules for the shooty version? mine has a TL zzap gyn, deth kannon, co axl gatler, skorcha and a gaze of mork.
I just want to say that you guys at the Bell are freakin awsome, always bringin us the best of the best in everything (especially the datasheets) thanks for kicking so much ass guys.
i agree, ill be using 2-3 datasheets from BoLS in my mega battle on the 3rd.
I like it: Simple and Elegant (if such an expression may be used for anything associated with Orkoids!)
@ Studderingdave based on your equipment load-out you should stick with the Armageddon Stompa profile (which really seems to represent a Supa Stompa when compared to Epic), this datasheet here is intended for the lil' Stompas that are about as big around as a Land Raider, and fielded in mobs of 2 or 3.
Prehaps give it fleet instead of a 12" charge. Even though these are "smaller"; a mob of them charging into any titan would be scary stuff let alone charing into 100 infantry!

kings, I've been thinking the same thing.
I'm afraid it might be too aggressive with a potential 24" total move that includes firing weapons.
What do you guys think of changing the 12" charge to a d6 fleet move instead of shooting, to nerf it just a little bit?
Give it two close combat weapons and have 8(!) strength D attacks on a 24" charge, or a X number of S10 hits stomp? This thing could suicide charge a warlord and leave it in pieces. You may want to put in a maximum of one Titan Close combat weapon (Though that isn't very orky)
I think as a whole any super-heavy vehicle should be at least 300 - 400 points (In my experience super-heavies end up being much more difficult to destroy than you would think)
Append: The fact that none are primary weapons is a good thing, Those are generally the hardest/most annoying things to take out
Awwwwwwww he's just a widdle guy!
Looks good, I think the rules fit the "orky land raider" idea quite well. I like the D6" fleet roll instead of shooting myself, 12" charge is pretty insane in comparison.
One thing though, why is it a digga stompa? Is it crewed by everybody's favorite ork-emulating humies from a (particularly) dystopic future?

I agree with the assessment that a 12" charge is too much for such a cheap and dangerous assault machine. But a d6 fleet move ... sounds about perfect! ;)
In the old 2nd dex, the Ork language defines "Digga" as weedy, small. It was either that or call it "lil Stompa". :)
i think it should be called the Grot Stompa, that way it could be interpreted as either or Grot squishin machine, or as the Grot of the Stompa family.
Ah so, then digga works just fine. I thought about the "grot stompa" angle, but then I figured no self-respecting stompa wants to be named after those truly weedy gits - diggas are weedy too, but at least they take after propa orks.

UPDATE: v1.01
The Digga has had a slight nerf to bring her down to her point value.
-Supacharga rule replaces 12" charge with fleet of foot option
-Side armor reduced by 1
-1 big shoota removed
The Digga is still tough for the points by nature of having 2 Structure but is not that hard to take down, especially if you can flank it.
Also note, that the buzzsaw is NOT a Strength: D weapon, but just more attacks at the default strength.
Looks excellent, and suits some of the older models and templates for models better than the Apocalypse offerings
Two points:
Isn't the Big Shoota Assault 3, rather than Heavy 3?
There is a glitch in the description text: "looted my more affluent" should read "looted by more affluent"
Hmm, are those buzzsaw arms still dreadnought close combat arms? It would be bit dumb them not to be so...
Morhgoz, the problem with counting them as Titan CCWs is that we decided it would be too powerful for a unit of this price.
I didn't say Titan CCW, but as Dreadnought Closecombat weapon... Or give it rule as it count as Monsterous creature in close combat, to get 2d6 armour peneration, like dreadnought.
Since its a Super Heavy Walker, it already has the 2d6 Armour Penetration and No Armour Save rules, if I understand the Apocalypse rules correctly
Johno
Ok... I haven't got my copy of Apoc book yet, so I wasn't sure did it have it.. Thanks.
johno, you are correct, the Digga is armed with a Dreadnought close combat weapon equivalent, and the arm only adds more attacks to its base profile.
It does NOT have a titan close combat weapon. Those much deadlier weapons seen on the larger constructs are strength:"D", and thus cause auto penetrations per hit, with a +1 modifier on the relevant damage table.
im anxious to see the "mork" vasriant with more guns. i emailed a pic of it )the one i won) to the flylord. hopefully they can make a datasheet for the shooty digga stompa
