Our initial set of Apocalypse datasheets for some of the larger toys like knights and titans have been well recieved. So well in fact, that hot on the heels of our Age of Heresy campaign book, we are planning our next supplement:
Lords of Battle: Epic Machines and Monstrosities of the 40th Millennia.
This supplement will be a single pdf file including a host of the most cherished "big guys" from back in the days of yore. Many of these have old resin models available, and many will require scratch-building from crazed modelers like you.

Sounds great !!! These datasheets are very well put together. How about one for the Harusprex for the nids though, and the basic Knight Paladin for Imperials ?
Also, with the release of the Banebalde kit, another excellent option would be for the 2 different variants of the Stormhammer (which is what I think you're thinking of, Bruce - the Shadowsword has a volcano cannon...)

While I like the Fellblade, I would like to know where the idea came from? Besides the non-weapon options, it is identical to the Baneblade.
Epic players will recognise the Decimator as the precursor to the Baneblade. It was armed with Twin Linked Autocannons instead of Heavy Bolters and Lascannons and had the Decimator Cannon, Epic equivallent to a Inferno Cannon with a bit extra range.
Unless there is better fluff support for the Fellblade, I think the Decimator is a better option.

wow, all sounds pretty good to me. just curious as to why not pick to do Paladins and Errants (as they were more common Knights), although i guess its because they are not as interesting. and why deliberately miss off the Fire Gale when you've included the Bright Stallion and Towering Destroyer.
regardless though, i'm looking forward to seeing knights stride the battle field again.

Will be cool to see more big bads for APOC. I second the deathstrike though, something I've been wanting to make for years. Pretty simple, likely just the armageddon missile (or whatever, the 1-shot) from the warlord titan, mounted on "chimera" hull with heavy bolter.

Happy to see the Leviathan in there, and the inclusion of a Capitol Imperialis is a great idea allowing for the different scales of such command vehicles people have built!
If I were to chuck a couple more Imperial vehicles into the melting pot it would be to agree with suggestions of the Stormhammer Super Heavy Tank which has always been popular, and the Death Strike Missile Launcher which could certainly be fun.
For other races - how about some of the Chaos Daemon Engines, did'nt Armourcast produce models for some, the Cannon of Khorne and the like?
I believe the shadowsword will be in the new Forgeworld book. Also, the new chaos book coming out this year will have at least 1 engine in it.

ummm.....how bout some of the Chaos armorcast stuff?? Cauldron of Blood! Cannon of Khorne....I've seen some good ideas on various forums on rules for those...considering there are actually resin models for those. That would be great!

OK, Deathstrike, Cauldron of Blood, Cannon of Khorne are in!
I'm trying to stay away from things that Forgeworld will be hitting, so there isn't duplication of work (the Reaver will get pulled at some point in the future).
No Squ*t stuff as the army is gone folks, and I don't want to reset the clock :)
Finally my thoughts on knights. GW made a whole slew of them, but most are almost identical stat-wise in epic. I don't want the book to focus to heavily on knights; but to have some for flavor. Thus I have done 2 for each side (eldar/imperial), one pair being fast but weak, and the other pair slower and tougher.

It's nice, but I think that you could do some more with the orks,Mekboy gargants, for example. Will these be ableto al be downloded?

my suggestion: I can't remember it's name, but it's the predecessor to the Thunderhawk gunship...it gets mentioned several times in some of the earlier HH novels...I think that would be a pretty cool entry. -Jan

Seriously, I was thinking of building a silver tower, but wasn't sure of the rules. I can't wait to see yours.
The only thing I would like to ask is that the eldar titan D-Cannons should be scatter (G) weapons.
How about a vehicle with a weirdboy tower? Those were cool.

Imperator class Emperor Titan! And it's variant, the Warmonger. Afterall, when you go big, you may as well go for the biggest.
Of course, that would require the Mega-Garagant as an opponent, and those would have a stoopid amount of gunz on it...

Any chance for some Dark Eldar formations? Maybe a Grotesque mob led by either a Haemonculus or Urien Rankarth (and thus giving them the ability to be upgraded to Uber Grotesques).
