Hi all,
It looks like GW is kicking out a ton of chaos Apocalypse goodness. The latest White Dwarf (340) contains the following 4 datasheets:
- Thousand Sons Warcoven (rubric marines and terminators)
- Banelord of Khorne (chaos warlord)
- Defiler Assault Force (3-6 defilers)
- Chaos Conclave (handful of named characters and daemon princes)
The following others have been mentioned as coming soon, and all are to be posted online eventually.
- Khorne Lord of Battle
- Khorne Doom Blaster
- Slaanesh Subjugator
- Emperor's Children Warband
- Nurgle Plague tower
- Silver Tower of Tzeentch
~Nice, very nice! Its really good to see that Apocalypse support continues! Yet more scratchbuilding to come... I guess a lot of this is to give the new Chaos Daemons codex some datasheets to call their own.

Anything to spice up the bland meat of Codex: Chaos.
Seems like it's gonna be conversion time soon.
Love the Apocalypse support. Just wish it was for a different faction. Chaos already has the most datafaxes of any (since they can use all the Imperial ones as well.)
Players can't be choosers, though, can we.
The names at least look interesting. Are these going to make their way onto the website as well, or must you buy the issue of WD to get it?
Some Witchhunters APOC sheets would be nice, okie how about just one APOC sheet, please....
This news is contrary to what GW replied to me personally when I sent an email inquiring about any new Datasheets.
But that being said, I'll be happy to see them, esp when I wasn't expecting any at all.
Jeff.
For the Dark Gods!! I'm loving this, especially since I refuse to use the Imperial datasheets for my Chaos army.
I wonder how different the "official" silver tower of tzeentch rules will be to the BoLS one? It'll be interesting, anyway.
Hell yes! I can't wait for more vehicles to make the transition from Epic, and more rules should mean more possibilities for fun, themed models and scenarios.
I think GW has been very clear and upfront about Apocalypse and their promised support for it. This all sounds great!
Great work GW!
...and still no love for Sisters... I go now to glue some wings on my Canoness... sobbing...
well, my roommate makes the arguement that since chaos can use the imperial datasheets, then by god the imperials can use the chaos ones. some of them don't make sense, but my friend uses their annhilator force explaining them as absolutely ancient equipment.
Ok, so now that every army has datafaxes what next?
Wait, whats that? No Sisters datafaxes?
But who cares about them, not like their an army or anything, go back to playing Lost and the Damned, I'm waiting for the Squats, now there's a neglected army.
[/Sarcasm]
finally i can use that damned plague tower i spent ages buildimg!!!
DOOOOM BLASTER
Loving it, curious which ones will actually be C:Demons datasheets specifically, though perhaps we won't see those quite yet as the codex isn't out.
Also cool that the Legions are getting some specific representation, albeit through the "Apocalypse Bandaid" program :P

Apocalypse band aid or not, (same with LatD), these data sheets are taken very seriously in southern California. Regular 40k is going the way of the dodo other than for tournament play (and tourney practice) only. Apocalypse 40k is the only 40k that "matters", and every data sheet put out by GW or BoLS is gold!

Well actually the whole point in Apocalypse is anyone can use anything so this statement is quite wrong.
"Anybody can use anything" - sure, but you are still limited by the figures that you have (access to) and by your idea of what is “fluffy” in your eyes. Or do you actually expect me to run out to GW and drop $100+ on a new army so that I can play a Chaos Datafex because Inquisition has a lousy support in Apocalypse?!? I don't think so... By the same token, why don't all the DE players suck it in and paint some Eldar armies dark red and be happy? Silly logic.
I love it how all the interesting parts of the last Chaos Codex are now 'Apoc Only'.
GW really shot themsleves in the foot when they made Codex: Chaos -The 'Imagination Not Included' Edition. God what a horrible book.
I weep for my Alpha Legion, Word Bearer, World Eater, Death Guard, Lost & The Damned and Iron Warrior armies...
But on the bright side, atleast GW is releasing (Apoc only) rules for people like me so that I can continue to use my armies (in Apoc only) as much as I like (with opponent's permission).
Idiot GW. Damn them and their 'generic daemons' all to hell...
BYE
Would be nice to see some new datasheets for the Tyranids as well... Of course can do them myself but if released by GW they get a more "official" feeling to them.
