Did someone ask for generic logos?? You all asked (loudly) and you shall recieve.
Most of us have some marines lying around somewhere, and one of the most fun parts of painting up a snazzy Marine Army is designing the iconography for our men. GW does a great job with their marine decal sheet, but there are all manner of other variants of the standard icons for Tactical, Assault, Devastator, and Veteran squads. Here is a logo sheet providing a set of 12 squad variant logos across a range of popular colors. I have also thrown in both roman numerals and the "Astartes Numerals" in a variety of colors.

The sheet is designed for printout on Decal printer paper which is easily available online. These decals are designed for the CLEAR decal paper. The procedure is as follows:
CLEAR PAPER: If you use the clear decals, the decals need to be applied to a light colored surface to be visible at all. The procedure for applying the "outline only" decals is to apply them to a white surface, and wait till they are fully dried. Then using the outlines as a guide, paint in the darker color around the decal if needed. It is odd, but gets the job done.

This entire sheet is sized for Marine shoulderpads, but please make sure you run off a test sheet first on your printer to make sure.

By the way:
1) GW stores will be staying open late and having midnight release events for Assault On Black Reach (AOBR) on the night of Sept. 5-6 much like they did for the 5th edition 40K rule book release.
2) Some GW stores will be having a "Bizarre Bazaar" customer flea market on the Assault On Black Reach release day of Sept. 6 to help facilitate the trading and selling of items from this great new starter set as well as all the other usual trading and selling of GW products that goes on at these fun and helpful events.
Logo Request - Skitarii / Ad Mech. Because you know GW won't be doing it anytime soon and who else is going to guard your Warhound's ankles in an Apoc game?
Now this decal sheet will see much use. It's something GW should have done years ago.
Once again it's proving BOLS is the best WH40K site.
Lets just say that maybe after the past couple of days some of us could use a little breather to just sit back, relax, and paint some minis (with cool squad logos) :)

Not a new logo sheet request, but rather a request for a sheet of Angels of Absolution logos facing in the opposite direction so that they can be used on both sides of vehicles, etc. Either way, thanks for the awesome work.

BigRed since you asked, I've had my own Chapter since Rogue Trader; Black Widow Chapter. My Chapter symbol is a red hourglass(I know what a shock), or an hourglass in a circle like the 8th Inf Div. Figured it couldn't hurt to ask. Hey maybe you could collect a bunch of personal chapter and guard symbols and do them as a group.

lol... I'd request a logo sheet for my Traits chapter but I use a lot of Dark Angels bitz in the army so not much help there...
but like seriously... all the logo sheets you guys put out there are great..!!
Sweet, you guys are really good to us lot, makes me wish I could use tranfers! I think the next step, would be a similar set but for vehicles, that would help a lot of people out.

Logo request - Red Corsairs
GW made some support for red corsairs but never released the logo sheet.
Just wanted to post to echo the request for a Skitarii/Adeptus Mechanicus sheet... Some ideas:

You guys should put one of your interns to work cranking these out on your own decal paper, and selling them. I'd pay $8-10 not to go through the hassle of making my own when I have so many other projects.
Along with echoing the Adeptus Mechanicus request, I'd personally love to see a Lamenters logo sheet.
THye are my chapter and painting dozens of tiny, bleeding hearts has slowly driven me insane. ;)

I was trying to say that I love these icons. I also loved your RT era Mentors.
But as it happens I have a current era Mentor army with the red eagle head badge. I would be really appreciative for the current mentor legion badge.
To be true GW's SM Decal Sheet is a big piece of crap. Given you have the two big types of tactical, assault and devastator markings but the numbers for each type of squad are missing. For example there ist no arabian numbers 7,8,9 and 10.
So I'll give my undying gratidute to BolS. By the way would it be possible to get white arabian numbers?

Unfortunately white is a big problem. Printers don't carry white ink, so white is simply the background paper color. While this can work for simple outline shapes like the squad logos, the numerals are so thin that they would not look good as outlines...
Believe me, I've looked far and wide for some brand of printer that can print opaque white... but no dice :(

Does anyone have any advice how to get that magic decal liquid stuff outside the US?
It seems that the contents are too poisonous to be allowed to be shipped to Europe it seems, which is sad cause I would really like to try these out.
I would REALLY REALLY APPRECIATE A KAELOR CRAFTWOLD Decal sheet, which is the army i am collecting now. for details there is the book eldar prophecy whch has all about them (and is an awesome read for warp spider fans!) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make it if possible!! i have been a big fan of the past decal sheets and of the site. (if not possible to make kaelor then i would really aprreciate generic eldar sheets (phew!)

It would be superb if you could make some generic 'kill' markers for tanks , similar to the ones shown in the 5th ed Rulebook? A brilliant way to gloat at your regular opponents, especially if you have a silhouette of their prize vehicle on your game- winning tank!

I would also like to know what the font used for the Astartes Numerals is, but in the meantime I opened up the PDF file and zoomed it to 400% so one row of numbers filled the screen. Then I pressed the Screen Print button. Pasted that into Paint Shop Pro, cropped the image and presto, I've got a set of numerals I can resize, recolour and print out on decal paper.
