I hope you all Americans are having a happy 4th of July Holiday. I have a few little rumors to whet your appetite and a couple of cool Macharian pics to get you guys stoked for the campaign book.
Rumors: Upcoming Releases
The Space Marine Scout Bikes will be sold invidually for $12 USD each
The Drop Pod will be priced at $30 USD
Release date for Assault On Black Reach is September 6
Macharian Crusade Pics
As for the Macharian Crusade, here we see a squad of Aurora marines backed up by Elysian Drop Troops of General Tarka'a Third Army engaging some dastardly Alpha Legionaires on Duma (I bet Captain Sorge is lurking about somewhere).
And here we see the unhinged Master Kree of the Crimson Guard leading the remnants of his chapter's veterans against his nemesis, the Arch-Maniac of Calavera on Callistos.
~Those prices seem downright reasonable but remember that standard caveat emptor's apply. As for the Macharian Crusade pics, the book is due later this month, and the master crusade decal sheet with all army group, marine and xenos empire logos is being posted this upcoming week. Us this as an open thread and have fun folks.

Possibly the awesom-est green marine paint scheme out there!
Might have to get me a few of those bikes for my Scout Company.
Great stuff. :) Any chance of whoever painted those Marines posting a step-by-step guide wih paint names etc? Or will that info be in the campaign book?
The painting on the Aurora Marines is great, but the real impressive thing here has to be those drop troops (even while being a bit out of focus in the picture)!
btw: are my eyes betraying me, or has the Alpha Legionaire in the front an Ultramarie decal on his shoulder?

My Alpha Legion are tricksy that way (ref- Index Astartes- Alpha Legion for more info)

Fantastic pics. Can not wait to get ahold of the Crusade "book" from you guys. Have to say I am more excited about it then I am about 5th.

Ah, good. $12 per bike is pretty decent, and I'll now finally be able to make that Pursuit Team I've always wanted for my Arbites. The Scout Bikes seem better looking for such a conversion.

Step by Step? They do look nice and crisp but its pretty much highlighting scorpion green and black lining the armor.
Indeed, an Ork who's holding a big shoota like a slugga, that's what I call a proper Whaagh Boss. =)
Umm, may be an off-topic question, but did those Marines and Drop Troops come from a place in Austin called Battleforge Games? I went there last Saturday and I swear I saw all of those models.

Battleforge games is where the Flylords play and all these pics (and all the others in the book) were taken there. Some of our collections are even in the cases :)
