General Collins in my opinion. Really excellent job, very grim and atmospheric.
I would of voted for the battlesuit guy but I can't stand it when they have tiny little heads poking out, like that's how it would work... Even if I could be convinced it did work that way it looks silly :P Besides that, he's hardcore.
Collin's is my fav.
Some pretty cool stuff out there. That Valhallan was quite nicely done.
I actually like the way that Sark's head is poking out of the top of his battle suit. It's nice that somebody got the scale correct for a change. Also, it's a great way of distinguishing between Sark and any other tau crisis suit trooper.
Just out of interest, has any one played as the Adrantis Union? I really like the sound of their combined Tau/ Necron force... It should definitely feel like a very "alien" force.
I love the Lucian with his 80's hair. Looks a bit like Pat Sharp.
Pat Sharp the damned was definitely my first thought.
Sark should be in a gold suit, not green. But I really like the model - especially the head.
General Collins gets the realism vote.
I would love to see the Senator in action - what would that cart do?
Funny, that crisis suit conversion is the first time I've seen a crisis suit that I consider nice looking.
I love that Valhallan, but I'm building a complete IG army with valhallans in white with snow bases.
I love that master kree, They're all good but i really like the hammer, the pose and the shading on it.
Senator, worst model in a fight but seems very fitting for 40k.Just needs a random book on imperial doctrine and a lecturn
They're all really nice! I'm interested to see how the poll turns out, as it was hard to pick the three I liked best.
There are so many good choices, it was very difficult to choose. I could have easily picked 2 or 3 more. That being said, I really like the Heretic Preacher of Christos model; once you get past the poor picture, it is very well detailed.
Man, Sark looks stupid.
Kree and Collins were definitely my first two choices. All the entries were good though!
Thank you, Nork!
Vasili's painter
Capt Alan Skar gets my vote , anyone brave enough to put bunny ears on a IC gets my vote.
They need to give marines more mohawks and less skulls and purity seals!
I really like the heretic preacher. I think the image quality of the photo is hurting the number of votes it's getting. Great work all around, gang.
A few good entries, but I was really hoping for more!
Kasrkin76 Here, so no 6th army figures.... I like Sark and Collins. I think the whole Adrantis V idea is awesome.
I'm suprised no-one did the Chem-lord character. He was pretty much the Kasrkin Sgt with a shuriken pistol.
General Collins is the best model there. Simple, and very effective.
I really like general Collins... Looks great. All in all awsome enteries! You all give me more reason to get back to converting. Congratz to all (I wish i could have picked a few more, lol)

i think that Master Kree, Gen. Cyrus and Sky Marshal Timovich are the top 3 models here... the general has a really great pose and the painting is great... the sky marshal has a kool pose and i love the gold plas pistol... and as for Kree, the way he is posed to be swinging the hammer at someone is really great!!!
All the SM-sized weapons on the human-sized figures looked really odd. But, hey, they're actual finished models, so they've got me beat.
-ChromeZephyr
That's true about the SM sized weapons... but what would you look like carrying around a Chainsword or a Bolter? We would all look pretty silly.

ahhhhh where are my entries?
~confused kings
General Collins rocks. I say this in no way biased by the fact that my own troops from Aexe Cardinale are based of the Bret man at arms box......

I disagree...
Hey guys, I'm the one who painted and converted Heretic Zaldantis. I apologize for the bad picture, it really takes away from the model. I e-mailed BoLS a better picture taken with a friends camera. Hopefully they update it, and thanks for the votes!

Commander Sark; Adrantis Union
Bitz used: Tau battlesuit, Necron, Marine
All the way. Demo rules the paintbrush...

Has anyone looked at the picture of Sark in the book? His head is sticking out and he hs a green suit, that model perfectly matches the pictre.
Sweet lord, this is even tougher than the regiment top 3! First up great work everybody, all of them are great! Personally I'm going with the following:
- general collins - clean, simple, yet very characterful conversion
- Commander Sark - Come on, he has a battlesuit ;)
- Vectus - favorite character of fine and a very nice conversion!
Collins is definitely my favorite. Partly cuz I love a medieval atmosphere for the I.G. and cuz bretonnians rock.
Why is someone from the Genswick rifles, from Aexe Cardinal, in a competition to feature in the Macharian Crusade when the Macharian Crusade happened nearly 800 years before the events in Strait Silver? (The Gaunt's Ghosts novel where they are first featured as trench fighters using primitive gunpowder weapons fighting on their own extremely backwards planet.) Even if they were recruited into the Guard AFTER the events in the book they could never have been before hand, considering how backwards and detached from the rest of the Galexy their planet is. This defies all the fluff, so they definatly do not get my vote.
I really like the painting and conversion of Sark, but the head ruins it for me. It's a cognitive dissonance to see a human, no less Space Marine, head on a Tau battle suit.
