A bit of inside baseball for a Tuesday afternoon but we hear that big changes are coming to the North American Games Workshop retail stores...
Various sources say another restructuring is underway that will see a new model of single employee stores coming our way along with scaled back hours of operation. Its unknown if this is an across the board change, or only for a subset of retail locations, but apparently the new retail model has been tested in other parts of the world and is headed to a North American location near you.
~If this is true, we may be seeing a re-definition of exactly what a Games Workshop retail store is, as well as a changing of its overall scope of activities - especially the balance between the capabilities of GW vs FLGS locations.
