So I had Bushido ask me for a small elite Logan Wing list to build and play for Adepticon. So with my Kung Fun list building skills I came up with the following list. This is my second pass at it that moves away from Drop Pods and tries to go into a Razorback nonsense spam list of Razorbacks. So lets get on with the show.

Goatboy’s Instructions
So basically this army is just about moving to the center and holding it as best as they can. The big fat WG unit in the middle will always be fearless, have some kind of Preferred enemy, and will be Tank Hunting if need be. You got 4 S:9 shots plus another d6 S:8 shots coming out of the unit as well. It moves up to the center and just holds it as need be.

The Wolf Scouts help screw scouting armies as well as give you something that can make the opponent move off their line if need be. My original list had Drop pod elements mixed with CML termies in each Wolf Guard mini squad. I am not sure if this one is any better as it has less ML shots but I think a better range of units that can survive a counter assault. The best thing is that most likely the big fat Termie unit will have a 3+ cover save from the Wolf Priest and Saga of the Hunter (see the latest 40k main rulebook FAQ). Stealth is going to make a mean comeback and look for a lot of armies to try and find ways to get stealth into deathstar like units. I have thought of a few ways to get 2+ cover saves without having to search for 4 leaf clovers on the ground.

This is a mean list that uses the most hurtful characters from the SW list. Give it a try as I think it will make for a quick game either way and give you more time to get lunch or grab a drink during a tournament. I thought about finding a way to add Bjorn in there – as the option to get another objective is pretty sweet as well as go first most of the time. We’ll see if it is worth it or not.

Next up I plan on writing some more Dark Eldar lists that go away from the Raider spam we are seeing and try for something a bit different.  Goatboy out!
