Hey everybody it's MBG and I am back with my newest "counts as" conversion, Thunderwolf Calvary of Khorne! I've been dabbling with running wolves for awhile, since Goatboy put me on to some tricks with them. So this is what I hope will be the first of many Thunderwolf of Khorne models.
Hi guys, lets take a quick look at the just released Flames of War "Blitzkrieg" campaign book. This is the highly anticipated Early-War giant Battlefront campaign book along the same lines as the Mid-War's Eastern Front and North Africa hardcover. Let's take a look.
5th Edition has now been around for some time and is nearing the point of having less days ahead of it than behind it. So now it is finally time to ask ourselves the big question, with years of games under our belts was it a step forwards, backwards, or sideways?
Goatboy here again, wanting to talk about tournaments in a very abstract way. I know I am known for building rather aggressive lists, hellbent of pulling you down into a Goat layered hell. So instead of just talking about how to win a tournament, I want to talk about what kind of tournaments people seem to like and my own opinions on them.
So this week Privateer Press unveiled three of the new Warjacks first announced at Gencon. These new models are upgrades kits based off the new plastic Warjacks from Cygnar, Khador, and Cryx.
I had several requests for more photos and information about the Wood Elf army I played at Wargames Con. Ryan, their creator, was nice enough to share the background behind the army and some great photos.
This one's a little old, but its been a busy week! Last weekend at Gamesday Codex Pictures put up their first movie trailer for the upcoming Ultramarines Movie. Have at it.
Today I want to talk about the upcoming Fantasy Flight Games Warhammer 40000 Deathwatch RPG. We've been poring over a review copy of mighty tome and it going to be a killer!
~Enjoy. If you have an awesome wargames shot you think would make a great BoLS pic of the day, email us. We love spectacle and characterful shots so lets see what you budding photographers can do! Warhammer 40k, Fantasy, Warmachine/Hordes & Flames of War shots are welcome.
Its Friday evening, and its time to talk about Space Marine Termys. Not the new fancy close assault ones, but the old school shooty ones... Gather round and bring your opinion!
Hey guys, MBG back with some Imperial Guard Greatcoat / Traitor Guard conversions. These guys are easy to convert and will really make your foot troops stand out. You can really have some fun with these conversions because a lot of the parts are 100% interchangeable, and even if you don't use certain parts on your stock troopers, the extra trimmings can make command sections and sergeants really stand out.
Goatboy here again - with a Fabius Bile list for you guys to chew on. I've decided to start a series on taking a special character and building a list around him. Some of these lists might end up being pretty strong. Most of them will probably be alright for most game play. The idea is to try and create a list that is both Character Specific as well as interesting.
I wonder how this story ends?

Earlier in August I had the pleasure of hosting 16-time Golden Daemon winner Mathieu Fontaine at a Painting Masterclass in Austin, Texas. I had previously taken Mathieu's excellent four-hour class at Adepticon. When I found out that he teaches a two-day/twenty hour version, I knew I had to get it organized for our group back in Austin.
The newest edition of Warhammer Fantasy Battles offers a great deal of changes and many arguments can be made as to whether or not they are positive or negative. Today lets focus on what I am calling Chaoshammer - the role of luck in 8th Edition.
Can 40K be played at 500 points? A 500 point army offers a good starting place for the new/casual players while providing an interesting and refreshing and fastpaced look at the game for veteran players.

I have had the pleasure of building 2 of these models as well as using parts on another Daemon prince model for my new 40k Daemon list. So here is my review of the new kit.
The BoLS video battlereports continue. This week we bring you AdamHarry's blinding yellow Hivefleet facing off against a dark and brooding Space Marine force under the command of the dreaded Chapter Master Mark. The Emperor's finest vs the alien menace - what's not to love?
Every codex seems to come out with one or two super units. Once you add in and are hopefully able to attach an HQ choice, these units start to get up into ludicrous point range, and a few of them go plaid. So what’s the best?
Eldar pilot cutting it a little close... Top Gun quote-a-long begins in 3,2,1....

One competitive format of Warmachine/Hordes stands out from the rest as the craziest, most time intensive, most intense, and (for some of us) the most rewarding. I speak, of course, of Hardcore.
THQ sent along this latest trailer and screenshots of Relic's Space Marine game hot on the heels of the Dark Millennium trailer. You'll like this one too.
Greetings again, boys and girls, Unicorns and children of all ages! Brent here, on loan from Strictly Average to preach 'n' teach competitive play in 40K.

So at WargamesCon I saw Duke's Blood Angels and they have some absolutely bad ass free hand work. I've done some before, but I have always been pretty conservative. So he inspired to push a little more at it.
THQ sent this latest trailer and screenshots over of the first player race unveiled for the upcoming Warhammer 40000 MMO: Dark Millennium Online. You'll want to see this one.
Every new edition of Warhammer 40,000 introduces some new rules to the game. When it came time to put out 5th edition the all knowing designers of the game, added a major rule that would forever change how the game was played, running.
Goatboy here again trying to give some 40k thoughts to help take your game to that next level. We all know how this game can be a fickle lover with amazing batches of 6s mixed with strings of 1's. Lets look at ways we can control the flow of the game that aren't based on our dice rolls.
MBG here with the skinny on the new plastic Bloodcrushers. One of the most highly requested model kits has now been released in plastic, and best of all you get three in one box!
The new kit is by far superior to the old pewter ones. There is a ton of gubbins in the new box, along with alternate horn options for the Juggernauts as well.
My favorite FLGS closed this past Monday after a hard fight to stay open. The local community is mourning this loss... and working through our emotions to find a replacement home.
Well, we got a bunch of pics of the Badab War minis and the cover shot of the upcoming book from Forgeworld unveiled at Games Day North America 2010. Lets jump in:
The second half of this month's Chaos Daemons releases are in stores today. Everyone's favorite two headed chicken and the Lord of Slaughter's rodeo riders...
