Mercer here and today I am going to talk about list building, it's something we all have to do, so you should be clued up on it. List building isn’t just a case of throwing a few choices together from your codex and calling it a day. Copying from White Dwarf isn't a particular good idea either! Remember, GW wants to sell models so they want you to show as many in a game as possible, but anyway...
Hello everyone, a rather short one today. But still there are some great news from Warlord Games, Secret Weapon Miniatures, Spartabn Games, Sphere Wars and Mantic Games, as well as a game involving a dog skull. Intrigued? Read on!
The BoLS video battlereports continue. This week we have Aventine's Guard Penal Legion facing down a big Ork horde with Zogwart. Can the Boyz defeat the scum of the Imperium? Also special thanks for Bushidoredpanda for rescuing this *lost* battle report from our old dead Flip videocamera - he's got mad MacGyver skillz.
Today's martial house focus is on the Flameguard of the Protectorate of Menoth. Each group within the Flameguard is tasked with a different duty, with the Temple Flameguard acting as guardians for religious sites, the Cleansers as the disciplinary arm of the Protectorate, and the Daughters of the Flame acting as covert strike force. Let's dive right in!
With the prevalence of Feel No Pain, we have become quite accustomed to Universal Special Rules (USRs). Furious Charge, Relentless, Fearless, and Stubborn are all very common USRs, but today we are going to look at one of the rarer USRs: Hit and Run.
Other than a couple of quick games with Drake McBain when he appeared, my Mercenary army has remained largely unplayed since the release of MkII. This is a shame really, since not only did Mercenaries probably get some of the most improved rules out of all the factions, they also got some cool new toys.
Hey everyone, Duke here from Dukesinferno today I'm not coming at you with more silly GK lists and blah blah blah. This time I'm showing you how to build your very own psiflemen dreads and how to make them look awesome (Imho)!
Goatboy here again looking at what might come down the line with future releases. Every time we get a new book we get a better chance to figure out what we might be seeing hit the table tops as new books get birthed from the great and terrible GW.
Those of us in Austin are all familiar with the awesome that is Bryce963 - I met him while working at an FLGS. He's been gaming off and on since about 2000, had his glory days in Austin, but has now moved to Lubbock to go to law school. He has a Space Wolf army currently, but has played several others over the years. Along with his fellow student, Jack, he runs a blog at dissentingdice.blogspot.com, and will be attending WARGames Con in the team tournament, and also Wasteland Wars up in Lubbock.
We've got an GT coming up next month that is as close to local as we can get (San Antonio - Alamo 40k GT May 14th-15th) and BigRed is going to make it there for some games. I know amazing that he is going to play more then one game a week on a video. He wants to play CSM so I figured an easiest list with some of the more bad ass characters from the book is perfect for him. So without further ado - it is The Don and Friends of Doom who Want to Kick Butt all Over Your Face - Pt 2!!!
Frost here again, this time to tell you about one of the new model kits in Battlefront's latest foray into the Vietnam War. The UH-1D “Slick” was the primary means by which air cavalry units got into and out of battle, as well as receiving light supplies and reinforcements. Bigred handed me a kit for one the other day, so I took a crack at it.
Here's the first article of a long review of the Grey Knights codex. I've broken it down so it's easier to digest and will go over each FoC slot separately and then at the end work out some lists. Here's the HQs not including special characters ;)
So there has been talk of this "Unbound" release headed our way. It would appear that Privateer has a new ruleset that is about to hit the streets that will open up large scale games in the Iron Kingdoms. More after the jump:
The BoLS video battlereports continue. This week we have Bigred bringing out the Dynamic Duo of Abaddon and Kharne to face down BushidoRedPanda's dreaded Deathwing army. Can the First Legion hold the line versus their traitorous brethren?
