The idea for this article came from correspondence with James, a hobbyist from England. After a few shared emails, I asked to see examples from his club's collection. He delivered - so now it's your turn!
Today is Memorial Day, and across the United States between the manic vacations, and shopping sprees, one can still find information on its origin and meaning.
Just recently, I obtained a copy of the first expansion to Warlord Second Edition, Warlord: Savage North. I was pleasantly surprised with all it had to offer, and in some ways I felt like I was looking at a new game. The look and feel was fresh with new artwork, stories, and pictures. I was pretty excited to tear into this book.
*carefullybrushsdustoff* Oh, hello, you're still here! Thanks for your patience :). This week I have some nice stuff from Warlord Games, Lead Adventure, Mantic Games, Taban Miniatures, Antenocitis Workshop and a very useful new release from Dragon Forge. Enjoy!

The BoLS video battlereports continue. This week we have the "Fall of Mars" scenario from our recent Horus Heresy event, battled out by stalwarts Bushido Red Panda and Real Genius. In this rendition, traitor has turned against traitor in a bloody last stand.
Hello again boys and girls, Unicorns and children of all ages, we're here today to talk savings. With the latest price hike, it's fair to say it's reached the point budgeting and planning go hand in hand with creating an army.
One suggestion for my Fire Hawk army was a deep blue color to contrast the predominance of yellow and orange. Immediately I thought of water basing. I've wanted to experiment with clear casting resin for a while and I finally broke down decided now was the time to give it a try.
So, we love to showcase dedicated hobbyists. Reader Bdub, found this awesome 12" doll (the big Gi-Joe sizes ones) of a Death Korps of Kreig sniper by hobbyist Dollbutcher up on Deviantart. Check it!
Some of you may be familiar with The Terrain making contests Privateer Press has been running from their website. The most recent one was to make a building suitable for the Iron Kingdoms. Here's mine.
Goatboy here again and amid the outrage of price increases as well as the thought of resin minis I've decided to try and talk through some ideas on what 6th can do to create a better game.
The more I interact with wargamers the more I discover that there are ideas that really need to go away. Most of these ideas rob us of our power to excel and in the long run damage our ability to perform.
So it's May and that means the start of the Texas GT season with our trip slightly south to SA (and continuing with the Railhead Rumble next month, and WargamesCon after that).
