3 Minute Read
Jul 29 2013

King’s of War has been knocking off all the standard fantasy races – but folks were waiting to see what the humans would look like.  You’ve got to see these cavalry – no seriously!

First up, here’s the basics:

The Basilean Legacy takes an in-depth look at the background and history of the heavenly army of Basilea, complete with Angelic troops and holy mounted Paladins.

The Book also contains two additional army lists for the forces of nature and forces of the Abyss as well as an expanded magic and magic artefact section!

-This 64-Page Book Includes:
-The history of Basilea and it’s armies
-Basilean Force List
-Forces of Nature Force List
-Forces of the Abyss Force List
-Magic
-Magic Artefacts

And now a taste of some of the units to give you a feel for the human faction:
Basilean Grand Master

 Basilean Paladins
 Basilean Paladin Knights

Basilean Men-at-Arms
Basilean Sisterhood

You’ll remember I mentioned some cavalry you HAD to see.  Behold these!

Sisterhood Panther Lancers
Most famous of all the Sisterhoods are those who hail from Tarkis, once a small Basilean kingdom famed for its light warriors, and still famous for its Gur Panthers. Gur Panthers hate the scent of humans but can be trained to tolerate it; however they will not allow themselves to be ridden by any but a woman. Armed with wickedly curved glaives, Lancers are nimble fast cavalry often seen harrying the flanks of an enemy attack.

These are up for pre-order and ship out end of August. They come in at a fairly modest price point making them easy on the wallet.  As usual, I’ll leave the value proposition to the consumer.  What do you think?
