Several interesting developments over the weekend boys and girls.  Let’s see what the rumormill is saying.

First up…

Dark Elves

We got further word that the Dark Elves are being split into two parts and some retailers are showing a little leg regarding the new release.

Then we get the following news: (via zhangyi)

So it’s clear now, that DE will be released during two months. October we will have warrior, witch elves, blood throne, Kharibdyss (dont know what is it), and a plastic shadowblade.
as we can see GW has put bg, chariot and dark riders to next month along with innocence(the 40K table game,i’m 95% certain that it will be in November). for good reason we can split our money to two months. that’s really kind.
for the price:
shadowblade, £12
warrior,£20
witch,£35
throne,£45
kha…balabalabala,£40

And an independent retailer reported these matching prices:

Dreadspears(Warriors?) £20
Shadowblade £12
Witch Elves £35
Cauldron of Blood £45
Kharibdyss £40  ~Hahaha: GW and their Naming Schemes

Mystery Box
So were you reading that top quote closely?  Because the line that has the internet twittering up a storm is this one:

next month along with innocence(the 40K table game,i’m 95% certain that it will be in November

This the first reported name and report of the 40K Skirmish game we’ve had in weeks.  Now while the Skirmish game is certainly not what I would put into the “rock-solid” rumor category, there are still older reputable sources out there who have been saying for months that the Mystery Box is coming.
On a side note, everyone has been scratching their heads over the last week regarding Games Workshop taking two key Q4 months and giving them over to Fantasy.  But that decision makes a lot more sense if that second month (November) is used to launch a 40K Skirmish game – right before the Christmas shopping season.
~Have at it everybody!
