Warmachine: April Convergence Releases Unboxed

3 Minute Read
Mar 23 2014

April is full of clockwork goodies for all you convergence players out there.

In fact there are so many cool releases in April that I’ve split up this month’s Privateer unboxings. Look for the rest of them soon. We’ll have Bane Cav!

First let’s take a look at the Corollary. I know Convergence players have been looking forward to this guy.

It’s pretty straightforward: a big chunk of resin for the hull, along with some cool little accumulator bits.

Here’s the back of the piece. As you can see there’s a lot of detail captured in the resin.

Very cool little bits here.

Up next is the final warcaster from the Convergence book. And since Convergence is a limited faction, he may very well be the last Convergence warcaster we’ll ever see.

Here are all the bits.

The arms and staff show the high level of detail we’re used to on the Convergence warcasters.

There’s lots of cool stuff going on with his tabard

There are some really tiny bits in this kit.

Last up, the new Heavy Vector kit.  This is probably the coolest of the releases, as it’s three new models in one.

As always it’s a big fat sack of bits.

Here are all the bits laid out.

Here’s a close-up of the hull.

A selection of the new weapons.

I don’t know exactly what to call this. How does hover servo sound? As you can see there’s some nice crisp detail on this bit.

Here’s another weapon bit.

These bits are for the modulator only, and would appear to be the power source for those mighty guns.

Lastly we have the heads. Overall I think the quality of this kit is somewhat improved from the previous heavy Vector kit. The detail seems a bit better overall, and the mold lines seem generally less prominent. But as these heads show, it looks like we’ll never be rid of annoying mold lines completely. The Modulator head looks like it will be particularly difficult to clean properly. Still it’s a really cool kit and it looks like it would be fun to paint.

~ Check back soon for the rest of April’s releases!
