HOBBY: Rock Ledge in Under 3 Minutes

In this tutorial we teach you how to make a rocky outcropping base. We used simple techniques that you can do at home.


To make this base you will need a few items: a base, insulation foam, hobby knife, hot glue, school glue (white glue), different sized basing sands, paints, and your amazing looking model. When you pick up your foam make sure it isn’t styrofoam because the primer will eat right though it. Make sure you get rid of all the straight edges of the foam because it won’t look natural. We used different shades to create a more realistic effect.
