HOBBY: Star Wars Imperial Assault Painted Up

It’s nice to see someone spicing up their copy of FFG’s Imperial Assault.

Here we see painting newcomer Bobafett taking some early hobby steps into painting by getting those default grey and tan FFG plastic figures all up to tabletop standards.

I think Bobafett did a pretty good job for his first stab at it.

We’ve talked to FFG staff who told us that the natural organic shapes of figures makes them better targets for dedicated hobbyists, so they purposely leave them in default colors, as opposed to the spaceships of X-Wing which can be more uniformly painted in simple palettes and take the pre-painting process better with their generally flatter surfaces.
