First let’s check out the ship stats for both the Imperial I and Imperial II class:

No surprise to see that command 3 there with a beast this size.  11 Hull is going to mean the Imperial class will be quite the foe in a war of attrition.  A mighty 4 Squadron rating means the Imperials are fantastic fighter control platforms, while 4 Engineering means the ships will easily be able to regenerate shields and stay in the fight longer.

The big news is that new CONTAIN action which does this:

swm11_contain_token

Contain: A ship can spend this defense token to prevent the attacker from resolving the standard critical effect. The attacker can still resolve a non-standard critical effect, such as one granted by an upgrade card.

That contain on top of the two Redirect and Brace further emphasize the ship’s focus on durability.

You get the expected set of named ship upgrades to dress up your fleet a bit.  Yikes the Devastator could end up with a TWELVE dice forward attack late game if it’s lost all it’s defense tokens!  And there is something very wrong about the Relentless operating with only 2 command dials!  YIKES!

Then we reach the crew cards.  As you would expect Needa is squirrelly and Vader is ruthless.

This ship is available in Q4 for $49.95
