Norsgard Games is back on Kickstarter with more Viking-inspired miniatures!

Around a year ago Norsgard Games successfully Kickstarted the first three factions for their Nordic fantasy skirmish game of the same name. These factions included the proud orc templars of The Scarlet Watch, the savage barbarians of The Howling Horde, and the unlikely alliance of dwarves and wulfkin that make up The Alliance of the Bat. This first Kickstarter hit most of its stretch goals and, now that the original backers have their models, Norsgard Games would like to fund two more factions.

These factions include the seafaring Egir Tribe and the cursed elves of Outregard. Most of the stretch goals include adding additional models for both of these new factions, but the old factions are getting some love in the add-ons section. These add-ons include the Scout and Nilf Guard for Scarlet Watch, the Persecutors and Oracle of Doom for The Howling Hordes, and the Ranger and Iron Guard for The Alliance of the Bat.

Norsgard is a 32mm skirmish game that uses between 4 and 10 miniatures. The minis themselves are resin with some metal components for some of the flimsier parts. For $45 you can get a starter box of your choice, plus the Kickstarter exclusive mercenary Hjal, the Dark Omen. The $75 level gets you a starter box and a copy of the hardcover rulebook, while $110 gets you both new starters and the rulebook. The campaign is already fully funded and based on the progress they’ve made so far they shouldn’t have any trouble hitting all the stretch goals.

While neither of these two factions really grab me, I do like the look of the Scarlet Watch orcs. Anyone here play Norsgard and plan on pledging?
