hamoperatorHey all! Bahkara here for another week of reviews this Thanksgiving week. A few gems this week spanning a few different topics so without further adieu, lets get on with it!

Allies of Convenience Episode 32 – The final installment of their ETC coverage is another good one. They talk with the captain of Team Ireland and is as good as the other interviews. They talk about his, and the team’s, experience at the event. They go over their matches and some of the distractions of the even, i.e. dehydration. In the next segment they speak with one of the chairman of the event. The interview is very insightful on how the ETC works, the challenges that they had with running the ETC this year and his hopes for the ETC in the future. Its a good listen and a way to see what it takes to run a large marquee event.

Preferred Enemies Episode 114 – The guys have a special guest this week, Pimpcron from Bell of Lost Souls website. They continue their discussion about 40k missions. This is the episode I was actually expecting when they were talking missions last episode. they talk about the mission types and how they go about designing their own missions. A lot of good ideas for those people that wish to design custom missions for their tournament, narrative or just casual games.

Garagehammer Episode 133 – Dave comes in with another 4 hour episode. This time they go in depth into the Khorne Bloodbound Battle Tome for Age of Sigmar. They go in to very good detail about the book. they talk about the emerging fluff for the army and the stories of the different units in the game. They also speculate on what may be in store when GW begins rolling out more battle tomes. A good listen if you play Khorne Bloodbound in AoS or are curious about what the book actually contains.

…And the Rest!

Life After the Cover Save Episode 160 – The guys actually talk 40K and the new Tau codex. They also go in detail about the vasectomy procedure. It’s both fascinating and anatomy wrenching at the same time. I’ll let you figure out which part of the anatomy I’m talking about.
Signals from the Frontline – Always a good listen for new and rumors on 40K and other miniature games in the industry.
