5 Things You May Have Missed From The Doom of Mymeara – Episode 35

  • JP

Hardly “ancient”. They’ve only been in the galaxy for ~250ish years or so…

    • euansmith

According to Lexicanum, they might have been sneaking around the Galaxy for an awful lot longer.

      • JP

Yeah, but you know how that goes. “The imperial records weren’t not unreliably disorganized, rechecked, double checked, triple checked, checked into the boards, sequestered, declassified, quarantined, and/or/maybe/not reconfirmed, signed in triplicate, sent in, sent back, queried, lost, found, subjected to public inquiry, lost again, and finally buried in soft peat for three months and recycled as firelighters.”

        • Hedwerx

That’s because the Administratum are not hoopy froods who know where their towels are.

        • euansmith

Are the ‘nids limited to sub-light speed or can they use the Warp? 700 years at sub-light speed would hardly make much of an impact on the Galaxy (100,000 light years across).

          • JP

“Hive Fleets travel with superluminal speed, though they never enter the Warp. Instead, by using the specialized psychic power of a selectively evolved Hive Ship, they manipulate the gravity fields of star system to achieve faster-than-light travel. The massive Warp presence of the Tyranid Hive Mind, however, manifests itself in that realm through the Shadow in the Warp phenomenon.”

This be what I found, yar. I think they can hitchhike into warp on other things though, since genestealers on constantly found on space hulks.

  • OolonColluphid

Must resist Space Hulk joke. Screw it, where are the pictures of the Terminators and Genestealers?
