The newest Civil War has a surprise at the end – check it out!
Marvel is pulling out the stops with the next Captain America installment…
Tom Holland was officially cast last summer for Civil War and a possible Infinity Wars run. Not sure if we’ll see him out of the suit this go.
Sony has been working with Marvel for months on this deal that allows Marvel to use the webbed Avenger. Marvel is giving up their share of profits in future movies that use the characters, in exchange they can use him and they don’t have to share profits on Marvel produced projects. It’s a pretty sweet deal given how Sony’s latest offerings have killed good will with the fan base.
James Gunn – director of Guardians of the Galaxy – has had a chance to watch it, and gave his first review during a Facebok Q&A session:
“I saw Civil War and I think it’s incredible. It’s one of the best Marvel movies ever, and I can’t believe what a wonderful job [directors Joe and Anthony Russo] did. And the cast. Oh my God, they’re so good. So it’s an amazing film and people are going to be really excited to see that come summertime.”
It’s the first Marvel Studios movie of the year – the next two are going to be spent catching the folks that don’t read comics up for Infinity War in summer of 2018.
I was already sold on this. Only complaint: Spidey’s suit looks really flat in this trailer. I hope they pulled that render from early post production and we’re getting something that looks less like a 2-D cartoon in the final cut.
Are you Team Stark or Team Cap?
