Here’s what we know so far…

The U.S.S. Enterprise, now with an updated paint scheme in all new translucent and metallic paints makes a reappearance as part of Attack Wing Wave 24.

Background:

The U.S.S. Enterprise is without a doubt the most well-known ship in the Star Trek Universe. With this reprint, you will have the chance to purchase the U.S.S. Enterprise Expansion Pack featuring a brand new paint job. Players who are new to the game will want this iconic ship to add to their collection, while longtime players will appreciate the new dynamic paint job and updated game materials.

The U.S.S. Enterprise continues her 5-year mission to seek out new life and civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.

Rules:

The U.S.S. Enterprise itself is a Constitution Class ship, with a primary Weapon Value of 3, 1 Agility, 4 Hull and 3 Shields. The Enterprise has four Crew Upgrade slots and one Weapon Upgrade slot. The generic version loses two Crew Upgrade slots and one shield. The special ability on the U.S.S. Enterprise allows the ship to perform an Action listed on its Action Bar while it has Auxiliary Power Tokens. This special ability is one of the most powerful in the game, as it allows the Enterprise to keep taking actions even when it is pushed to the limit.

Inside the U.S.S. Enterprise Expansion Pack you will find all the characters you know and love from Star Trek: The Original Series. The choice of Captains is yours; will you choose the original Captain Pike or the iconic James T. Kirk? Both are included in this expansion pack. Christopher Pike is a level 6 Captain who makes all of your Crew Upgrades cost -1 SP to purchase. James T. Kirk is a level 9 Captain with two Elite Talent Upgrade slots. Kirk also allows you to purchase Federation Elite Talents for exactly 3 points.

This is simply a repack of the original Enterprise. None of the cards have been changed- not even Photon Torpedoes, which stayed as a disable instead of using the new Time Token Mechanic. This was a HUGE missed opportunity by Wizkids to reboot the game and start fixing some issues, but… Nope. GG Wizkids!

As a side note- the Cochrane Deceleration Maneuver artwork was changed, so that’s something. I hope the new paint job is better then the last, but I’m betting it’s just going to be like the recent USS Constellation from The Doomsday Machine OP.

If it looks anything like the metallic paint they used on the USS Hathaway they can keep the damn thing.
