“Eldar Guardians – Over 30 years”

What’s the oldest one of these you have?

Enjoy. If you have an awesome wargames shot you think would make a great BoLS pic of the day, email us. We love spectacle and characterful shots so lets see what you budding photographers can do! Warhammer 40,000, Fantasy, Warmachine/Hordes, DUST, Bolt Action, Dropzone, Gates of Antares & Flames of War miniatures photos are welcome.

  • Commissar Molotov

They did a really good painting job of mixing the various guardian models without it looking too odd.

  • Sadly the Warwalkers have modern weapons. I’d prefer the classic weapons on such classic models. At least the one in the middle with the Rogue Trader pilot.

    • Andy Wise

The original war Walker scatter lasers were awesome weren’t they? Elder version of a mini gun. Will dig one out for a picture if I remember.

      • Ebsolom

The old Eldar Missile Launchers were stubbier and fatter too.

I really like these posts but I wouldn’t mind unit close ups as well…..just saying….

  • BT

I have some Guardians that are so old, they have Lasguns. Heck, I have a guy with a harp. 😛

    • Damistar

I have one with a chainsaw blade on his shuriken catapult. I think the lasgun eldar were 2nd edition, at least the push together plastic ones were.

  • Warrior_of_Sound

This picture is missing itself some Vampire Class Spirit Warriors:
Heres one I upgraded with a spear (made of an OG firepike and ranger Sword, and a shield made of some extra flying base parts

Need the old Avatar in this pic… I have most of these but don’t have any of the really old shuriken cannon on tripods.
