40K RUMORS: Betrayal at Calth Sequel Contents
There is new word on exactly what minis are coming in the next Horus Heresy boxed set. Take a look:
We have been hearing for months that the new set would contain a new set of plastic Horus Herresy minis to build upon the first Betrayal at Calth boxed set.
The first box kicked off the new Heresy plastic live with:
- Mk. IV Maximus Marines
- Cataphractii Terminators
- Contemptor Dread
- Mk.IV & Cataphractill Officers
The next boxed set has been rumored for months to include something assault / hand to hand themed.
Here is the list of minis in the box from industry insiders:
- Tartaros Terminators x5
- Tartaros Terminator Officer
- Mk3 Breacher Marines x10
- Mk3 Breacher Officer
- Mk3 Assault Marines x10
- Mk3 Marines x10
That is an interesting list and it makes a lot of sense is your goal is have each box set build upon and expand the HH plastic line as a whole. This combined with Betrayal at Calth would give us the two different types of Heresy distinctive termys, tacticals, assault and breachers in both Mk IV and Mk III varieties, plus a variety of officers and the Contemptor.

Heck they could just throw in a couple of basic vehicles like a Rhino/Predator, a Dev squad in plastic later on and call it a day.
