The new reboxes of the Ogors are coming this weekend from Games Workshop – are you ready for the cold?!

  • They look fantastic. Would love to see more ogre players, they’re a VERY cool faction.

    • ZeeLobby

I pulled mine out the other night. Just need to find round bases on the cheap!

      • Aezeal

No need for that really… I personally am considering it for my characters.. but not for rank n file.. (ok ogors are less rank and file… but still.

        • ZeeLobby

Yeah. My friend has just played his square bases in 40K before, and it just looks ugly. Haha.

          • Aezeal

Not if you start them ranked up neatly..

          • ZeeLobby

Don’t thy eventually spread out though? I’ll probably only play matched play, and I’m assuming they’ll be some kind of base requirements for that.

      • Beefcake the mighty

Don’t put them on round bases. It’s unnatural!

      • OldHat

Same here! Had my Ogres in a box since AoS hit. Been waiting for any excuse to break them out again!

    • Agent OfBolas

well, in my area all Ogre players are pushing hard with T9A project as they have decent and very playable book.

Basically no one plays AoS in my city as all players moved to T9A, there is just too much things wrong with AoS. It died more less one year ago, and no one tries to revive it.

Although all Start Collecting boxes are warmly welcomed as they are perfect for new T9A players.

      • jazeroth

can i ask: have you given the game a chance? i have watched a few games and i’m intrigued by it, so i started a small skeleton army of death

        • ZeeLobby

I’ve played both,.and T9A gives what WHFB did without the poor rules and balance that GW gave us in 8th. AoS is more like Warhammer 40K, but in a fantasy setting, and with streamlining I think 40K will soon follow. Since I already play 40K, T9A is more appealing as a second game to me, but in my area it’s harder to find then AoS which is also rare. So I’ll probably go the AoS route.

  • Michael Van Eeckhoute

The ice theme works really well on these models, getting flashbacks to the Wampa from Empire Strikes Back, in a good way

    • Zack Seiders

A tundra paint job. Nether thought I see it like this.

  • Sputnikwriter

Are these new models or just a repackage with new bases?

    • ThereIsNoFate

      Just repackage

      I want plastic Yetis u_u

      • Ben Martin

Don’t we all my friend, don’t we all.

  • MightyOrang

So are there new models here? Not an Ogre player so I can’t tell…

    • Zack Seiders

repackage like with the ghouls and bonesplittas.

  • Dennis J. Pechavar

I like the paint job they did on these, other than the yeti. I don’t usually like the highlight style of GW but these are spot on.

  • zeno666

    I hope the stonehorns doesn’t eat grass…

  • Talos2

The stone horn remaining at £36 is a great thing don’t get me wrong, but it really highlights the ridiculous prices of the larger creatures released since AoS was launched. Why is the Orruk one £65, or allariele £80 then?

    • Alpharius

Yeah, but I guess its GW’s new, alternate way of pricing -instead of raising all the prices every few years like they used to, they just raise the prices on new products. I kinda like this way better, because it means models are almost priced according to quality, if you know what I mean, but it does mean you’ll get some weird pricing, look at Space Marine clampacks for example.

    • Aezeal

I thin Allarielle and the new maw crusher are bigger.. but I might be mistaken.

      • Talos2

They’re pretty much the same size.

  • Shawn

They don’t sound like ogres to me, more like space wolves.

  • Alpharius

Man, this faction looks great! So tempting…

  • Henri-Pierre Garnier

Damn, now that’s the first AoS faction I could see myself painting
