“I can’t tell if they are mad or in love”

Enjoy. If you have an awesome wargames shot you think would make a great BoLS pic of the day, email us. We love spectacle and characterful shots so lets see what you budding photographers can do! Warhammer 40,000, Fantasy, Warmachine/Hordes, DUST, Bolt Action, Dropzone, Gates of Antares & Flames of War miniatures photos are welcome.

Wish both of them was available in plastic….

Amusing ancedote. I own two of the old armorcast reavers and they have yet to be killed in Apocalypse games.

But the guy who bought a knockoff copy of the forgeworld one, and who never has the rule books for the stuff he uses, almost always gets his killed by turn 2. Usually by one of my Reavers.

It’s why I’d name one of them Karmic Victorum if I wasn’t always trying to sell it.

Yep, sounds like bad karma for buying a knock off to me. It could just be poor tactics or bad luck of course but I prefer to go with the first one as if you buy recasts that’s what you deserve in my book.

Same thing happend to my old-school predator annihilator model,
no matter how much fire power was aimed at him,
he would very rarely get blown up before turn 4-5.
So I named him “Ol’ Faithful”. 😀

I struggled for a name for my Reaver for awhile and settled on Vere Carus (Latin for Very Expensive, it’s the FW kit).

  • Badgerboy1977

Those old Armorcast ones really are terrible in comparison with FW’s, they were also a lot cheaper of course and just up scales of the original epic ones but still not great.

      They’re easy to assemble though.

I’m sure they are as there’s not a huge amount to them, which is fine if you just want an easy model to represent one but for me personally I enjoy the hobby aspect and the exceptional detail that comes with the FW ones.
