A quick to learn dice game that’s a ton of fun for all sorts of gamers.

The Annual Wizard Talent Show only comes around…well, once a year. This is your chance to prove you have what it takes to be the best spell-caster around. The competitors square off to roll their spells with beautiful, colorful dice. Each turn they can save one symbol that matches their spell card. Speed is the key as everyone is casting at the same time. The rules are magically altered each round through Feat cards. It’ll keep you on your toes and always looking for a new strategy. Some spells even come with an ability to slow down the competition. Hey, a little gamesmanship never hurt anyone. The first wizard to complete six spells wins the game, earning Magical Bragging Rights (much better than the normal kind)!

Gameplay:

This game is easy to pick up, and fast to play. Each player gets a dice cup and 6 matching dice and draw 2 spell cards. A feat card is drawn and shared with all of the players. Feat cards instruct players to do zany things while they roll their dice…

Once the feat is announced players choose a spell to use from what they have in their hand, and announce it to everyone. Then the dice get rolling – players select one die out of each roll that matches their spell, and continues to roll until their spell card is full. The fastest spell caster wins the round, and the first to cast six spells wins the game.

It’s fast and a lot of fun. It’s a great addition to any social game collection, and an easy one to take to a party and get new players in on the fun. I’d definitely put Ta-Da on the everyone in the family can play game list for holiday fun this year – get the kids off the tablet and the x-box and get them interacting!
