As your army grows in size and tactical options it’s important to keep some movement and shooting phase ideas in mind so you not only complete your game, but also so you don’t miss any tactical opportunities created by your opponent.

With so many model on the table, large model count armies can be very slow not only in movement, but in planning with your deployment zone. Here a a few counters to fast moving armies.

Lower point models that make up the bulk of many horde armies often lack an armor save vs. bolter weapons, forcing you to rely on cover- but what happens when there is no cover on the table?
