Right now, hundreds of independent retail stores across the world are running Kill Team games as part of the Into No Man’s Land event series. This is a great way to get involved in the Warhammer 40,000 community in your local area, as you only need a single squad or a handful of models to take part.

The great thing about Kill Team is that it only takes a handful of models to get a game in. If you’re wanting to get your toes wet or if you just want to go play some quick pick-up games contact your FLGS and find out how you can participate.

Brutal close-quarters combat in the 41st Millennium

The Game

No strength in numbers. No margin for error. Pure, fast-paced combat where tactics matter more than brute strength, and every action matters. A single shot can spell the difference between life and death, and a single decision can decide whether a battle ends in glorious victory or dismal defeat: this is Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team.

A whole new way to play games with your Warhammer 40,000 miniatures, this standalone two-player game puts you in charge of small bands of warriors, and gives you one objective – win, or die.

Kill Team: Into No Man’s Land – are you ready to get up close and personal in the 41st Millennium?

  • Ciaphas Cain

    Why isn’t Australia doing it?

    • Ask your local gaming stores. I will ask mine for sure why none in my city will participate.

  • Simon

Weren’t there rumors on BoLS that suggested GW would release other Kill Team starter boxes?

  • Xodis

Sweet! My store is doing it!

  • Jukka Vuorisalo

Yeah, Finland is there… With ONE miserable store…

    • jcdent

Lithuania is there… With THE ONLY store that we have!

    • DJ860

      That’s the spirit!!!!

    “No Strength In Numbers”
    *laughing renegades and heretics*

  • euansmith

I hope that this goes well. I predict a Space Marine win.

    • Donald Lindsey

My Genestealer Cult list is 5-0 vs. Space Marines so far…volume of fire and rending in close combat are working for me.

      • euansmith

        😀 😀 😀

  • ZeeLobby

I really wish the new rules weren’t just a copy and paste of the old. Selecting individual models to kit, claxons and progression (all things found with the older old kill teams) would have been a welcome sight. As it is its just 200pt 40K with all the issues 40K proper has. The only saving grace is that people tend to load their tables up with terrain that at least blocks LoS for infantry.

    • An_Enemy

People that enjoy Kill Team really should just go play Infinity instead.

      Superior in every way.

      • ZeeLobby

Or the original kill team rules. Or one of the several community versions. Such a better game. We’re planning a campaign around Heralds of Ruins version now and the mechanics they add are both satisfying and cinematic (rules for climbing, jumping gaps, etc.)

        • An_Enemy

The HoR ruleset is very fun. I agree that it’s much better than the official KT. I use their 30k KT rules.

          • ZeeLobby

Yeah, I need to get back into some 30K. It was fun while we played it.

  • An_Enemy

So out of the three stores near me that are on the website…none of them are actually doing anything for this.

All three owners said they got their league pack and just handed the swag out to regulars and whoever was around at the time.

    • Justin MacCormack

Knowing my local GW store, they’d have a ‘contest’ for their league packs. Their usual ‘contests’ are to see who can spend the most money that day….
