Tabletop Gallery “Khadoran CHARGE!”

Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volley’d and thunder’d;

Enjoy. If you have an awesome wargames shot you think would make a great BoLS pic of the day, email us. We love spectacle and characterful shots so lets see what you budding photographers can do! Warhammer 40,000, Fantasy, Warmachine/Hordes, DUST, Bolt Action, Dropzone, Gates of Antares & Flames of War miniatures photos are welcome.

  • So, the question is: does Larry ACTUALLY know the poem, or is he just quoting Bashir and O’brien like most of us?

      Huh. I take it that ‘Charge of the Light Brigade’ isn’t commonly taught in schools any more?

      • Not in the US, at least. I’d wager most people in their 30s today first encountered it in that episode of DS9 (I did), and I never ran into it in an academic circumstance in highschool OR college.

    This Khador, so the cannons are actually firing in support of them.

    Of course, with the drag from those cloaks and shoulder pads, they probably can’t even get up to a canter.

      Warmachine apparently does have a cute reason behind the massive pauldrons; with all the punchy robots and monsters, the biggest threat your elite soldiers face are a downwards punch! Still doesn’t quite make sense (unless the pauldrons have springy shock absorbers inside?), but I’d mark that explanation as “unexpectedly creative”.
