Based on what we’ve seen I think this book is going to be an awesome resource. It includes stats and lore for dozens monsters – new additions for 5e like the froghemoth, the neogi, and the vargouille, as well as classics like orcs, gnolls, and kobolds. It also provides more character race options for players. I’m looking forward to reading this one.

What do you think of what we’ve seen so far?

Is this supposed to supplement the Monstrous Manual? Would you be needing this, or is it just a nice-to-have?
