The Beastmen of Change are on the move – come take a look at what they do in the game!

The Tzaangors of Tzeentch are on the move. They represent the middle-ground between mortal and daemon. All the Tzaangors have the Chaos, Gor, Tzeentch, Arcanite and Tzaangor keywords. Get ready for some ferocious attacks from the Gors of Change!

All of their rules are available online from Games Workshop or via the Age of Sigmar App available in the Google Play or iTunes stores.

Tzaangor

Tzaangor Rules

These are your standard foot troopers for the Tzaangors. Watch out for those Icon Bearers and Brayhorns. The Icon Bearers will cause mortal units 1/2 the time for each wizard within 9″ and the Brayhorns will let them run and charge in the same turn! They have some basic attacks that are bolstered by Arcanite Heroes as well!

Tzaangor Skyfires

Tzaangor Skyfires rules

Tzaangor Skyfires get the Daemon keyword added due to their daemonic steeds – the Disc of Tzeentch. Watch out for their arrows – with Judgement from Afar each 6+ automatically causes D3 Mortal Wounds! If you have a Tzaangor Shaman within 9″ that means any dice roll of 5 or 6 causes D3 Mortal Wounds thanks to Preternatural Enhancement!

Tzaangor Enlightened

Tzaangor Enlightened

The Tzaangor Enlightened are a strange one – they can be “upgraded” to ride on Daemonic Discs of Tzeentch as well. Doing so addes the Daemon keyword, +1 Wound, a move of 16″, fly and access to the Disc of Tzeentch’s Teeth and Horns attack. That makes them a very fast and lethal close-combat threat.

Tzaangor Shaman

Tzaangor Shaman rules

Not only is the Tzaangor Shaman the “trigger” for quite a few abilities, he’s also a dangerous opponent in his own right. He’s one of the few casters that can break the “Rule of 1” and attempt to cast the same spell twice if he chugs the Sorcerous Elixir*. Riding on a Disc of Tzeentch, he’s also a quick and deadly foe!

(*Note – according to the AoS FAQ Abilities that allow you to cast a second spell, even when it specifically says you can cast the same spell, cannot break the Three Rules of 1. How’s that for contradictory!)

Magister

Magister rules

The Magister is not a Tzaangor, but he’s part of the “mortal half” of the Disciples of Tzeentch. Keep in mind he’s also a wizard so can trigger a few abilities from the units above also. He’s got a few tricky abilities and the Bolt of Change can be pretty nasty – just remember to set aside some reserve points if you want to actually “summon” a Chaos Spawn with that ability!

The followers of Tzeentch always have a trick or two up their sleeves…watch them like a hawk or you might get your wings clipped!
