Designed for use in the game’s Cinematic Play and Epic Play formats, the C-ROC Cruiser Expansion Pack contains one C-ROC Cruiser miniature, one M3-A Interceptor miniature with an alternate paint scheme, seven ship cards, thirty upgrade cards, and all the maneuver dials, damage decks, tokens, and game pieces that you need to fly your C-ROC Cruiser and its escort to battle. Additionally, the expansion includes a new campaign for Cinematic Play in which your C-ROC draws the ire of either the Galactic Empire or Rebel Alliance.

The C-ROC Cruiser a new huge ship for the Scum faction. Based off the same frame as work as the Gozanti-class Cruiser, it’s main commercial use is for cargo transport. It has extra cargo space and three additional engines and this makes it a popular choice for merchant convoys and fleets.

However, this is Scum and Villainy! The C-ROC can be used as a ship for epic play and can be quite the beast of burden:

Ten Hull and Four shield is nothing to scoff at when you consider it’s action bar. It can reinforce and recover which will help out with it’s ability to tank damage. Plus for only 35 points base, that’s a pretty good deal! Here are three of the upgrade cards that will also help out with this beast of a boat:

But that’s not all that’s included. The C-ROC also has some new cards that the Scum faction can use plus some extra cards to help out the M3-A Scyks.

First off, we have the updated version of the “Heavy Scyk” Interceptor card. This has the new errata included.

We also have the new “Light Scyk” Interceptor card. This is interesting because it’s -2 points, so it makes all your M3-A’s cheaper. Plus it changes all their banks into green maneuvers. The cost is that you loose your modification slots. Oh, and every damage card dealt to this ship is now face up. Ouch. Then again, they only have 1 shield and 2 hull – so are crits really that bad for it? Not when you can run 8 Cartel Spacers in a list…

Cikatro Vizago is a pretty interesting card. The ability to instantly swap out your upgrades seems REALLY good and will only get better as the game grows and the card pool deepens. On the flip side, you do have to give up a passenger slot – but that could be worth it if you need to customize your list on the fly!

I’m sure we’ll see more teasers from FFG in the coming weeks – It looks like we are getting a Hutt after-all! So keep an eye out for the C-ROC Cruiser Expansion Pack, due in Q1 of 2017!
