This is still considered a rumor, but the contents are really specific. So take it with some salt:

“Didn’t see this posted before – regarding the new Warhammer Quest:

WARHAMMER QUEST: SHADOWS OVER HAMMERHALL

Warhammer Quest: Shadows over Hammerhall is a stand-alone boxed game for 2-5 players set in the splendid city of Order – Hammerhall. Up to 4 players can quest in the catacombs and dungeons below the city, while another acts as game master, setting fiendish obstacles, controlling the antagonists (monsters) and setting the story – it’s up to this player to take charge of revealing the secrets each dungeon has to offer.

The game is fully compatible with the Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower game and the Hero Cards. Any miniatures or rules the customer already owns for that game can also be used in this game. In addition, the game has a lot of replay-ability, as character level up and increase their skills as you play. The box contains 31 miniatures, including:
1x Lord Castellant and Gryph Hound
1x Cogsmith
1x Black Art Fleetmaster
1x Loremaster
1x Chaos Sorcerer Lord
5x Putrid Blightkings
10x Kairic Acolytes
10x Bloodreavers
1x 72 page guide book
1x 32 page adventure book
18x double sides board sections
55x cards
12x dice
A variety of counters and markers for tracking your heroes as they gain experience and skills under the city of Hammerhall

£90, on sale 25th Feb.”

Now, this looks a lot like a marketing blurb that would be sent out to retailers for an early copy. That price-point lines up with previous boxed games like Silver Tower pretty closely, too. I’m guessing it will be right around the $120-$150 mark.

I am curious on the Spelling of “Hammerhal” – the box art only has 1 “L” yet this marketing note has it spelled with the double “L”. Probably just a typo (or autocorrect).

Let’s take a look at the heroes listed in the box:

Lord-Castellant $40

Cogsmith $21

Black Ark Fleetmaster $20

Loremaster $20

99070210001_LoremasterHoeth01

Chaos Sorcerer Lord $15

99070201018_ChaosSorcerorLord01

That’s already a ton of value in this boxed set for just the heroes. Now let’s take a look at the rest of the list:

Putrid Blightkings $55

Blightkings01

Bloodreavers $58*

99120201037_KhorneBloodboundBloodreavers

*price is for 20 models.

Kairic Acolytes $50*

*price is for 20 models.

If you do the math this Warhammer Quest box is going to be quite the deal, again. I’m also hoping that this new game will be fully compatible with the previous Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower. It wouldn’t make sense for it to NOT be compatible. If you picked up both of these boxes you’d almost have a full Disciples of Tzeentch force – or at least the start of a good one. Plus all those other Chaos models…

We will be keeping our eyes peeled for more info about this latest delve into Warhammer Quest from Games Workshop. Adventure awaits!
