This is a JAM PACKED episode. We start things off talking about the big blue man himself Roboute Guilliman. You don’t want to miss this!

Hey Guys,

The loyalist get their first Primarch in 40k in the form of a giant blue monster! This guy is a combat beast with stats to match. He is going to struggle a bit getting in to combat but once he gets there… ohh baby, he is going to come out on top.

His weapons combine into a single piece of wargaer that allows him to roll on the D chart when he rolls a 6 to hit. He also has Precision Strikes, this means he is able to apply the D exactly where he wants it!  Its a bit of a competitive downer that he is a Monstrous Creature but in the grand scheme of things and how the Imperial soup works this is almost not even an issue.

You will be able to surround him with a wall of moving Rhino walls in a Gladius or completely bubble wrap him in Ferensian Wolves.  Either way, the Imperium has enough in their lists to keep him safe enough to make base to base combat.  Once he does – he is long, strong and ready to get the friction on.

If you have hot dice then he is basically immortal coming back each time he is slain on a 4+.   I guess it is pretty cool when Cawl and the Eldar god of death get together to make your wargear.

Grand Master Voldus is another awesome character featured in this book and we get to him in the 3rd part of the show.  I think people are going to be on the fence about him due to his points.  Coming in at 240 he is up there in Draigo land.  He comes with 4 psychic powers and a Force Thunder Hammer that swings at I5…  That is going to cause some pain.  Let’s not forget that he will likely have hammerhand.  He will be swinging a Str 10 hammer that causes Instant Death.  ID is relevant because it will deny feel no pains.  He can realistically go one on one with a Wraith Knight or a Super Tuna.

If you were playing GK before then jump for joy, this guy is a must have.

In the middle of the show I talk with Andrew Standiferd about his victory at the LVO on the Age of Sigmar side. We get inside his head a bit. He’s great to talk to and I hope you enjoy it.

The Finishing Moves segment is sponsored by Frontline Gaming. They just launched their new robot themed table mats and terrain.  These look amazing together.  Please check them out, even if you already have a game mat.  Their new styles are very impressive.

The hobby segment is neat talk about the color where and color theory.  It sounds a bit boring to ‘think about’ but there is a ton of science behind the principal.   This is the kind of knowledge that can up your game quite a bit.

FTN mostly focuses on Warhammer 40k, but again you will see in the first few episodes we take a severe deep dive into nerdom. These have been a blast to record and I hope they help pass the time for you.
