Warlord – Fury of the God Machine $27 (Hardback)

The Battle Titans of the Adeptus Titanicus are towering war engines, striding to war as holy effigies of the Omnissiah. Greatest of all are the mighty Warlord Titans, their weapons bringing righteous death to alien and heretic alike. Still reeling from a near disastrous battle against tyranids, the Pallidus Morr demi-legio is assigned to a new warzone, a nearby forge world which has fallen under the sway of Chaos. Here their battered war-machines must fight alongside another Titan Legion, the Imperial Hunters. As city after city falls before the relentless tread of Chaos war machines, the Imperium’s only chance of victory lies in the two legios putting aside their differences and fighting as one.

~Who’s picking up what?

  • Raven Jax

Hope the rules for Shadow War will be a free download somewhere. Can’t really afford a $130 US box set right now.

    • cudgel

Something tells me that just might happen, just a hunch…

      • Lewismauler

Free download… highly doubtful. But affordable ebook almost certain. Even kill Team is 9.99.

        • Rainthezangoose

Highly doubtful? Couldn’t be more wrong, OP never mentioned it being free and legal download. Not like i’m encouraging piracy or anything, just stating a fact.

          • Severius_Tolluck

He didn’t say that, he said unlikely there would be, and that most likely there will be a digital copy for a lower cost… unless you hit reply on the wrong comment.

          • dave long island

            Ixnay on the illegal download-nay….

          • Reddog

It’s “ixnay on the illegal ownload-day”. Where did you learn your pig latin?

          • dave long island

lol… Yes, yes, you’re right, of course. I misspoke, lol…

          • The standards for teaching kids pig Latin these days are terrible

    • Mr.psyker

get it for 91 bucks with a 30%

      • Crevab

Who does a 30% over here?

        • Isolfr

A store near me does 25%
Another store farther away does 20% but keeps better stock

      • Yeah…I know where to get 25% but where is this mysterious 30%?

      • Raven Jax

Okay….I hope the rules for Shadow War will be a free download somewhere because I can’t really afford a $91 US box set right now.

*continues saving money for Death Guard*

    • Lewismauler

Mortarion and death guard look great and can’t wait to see them all in full detail with new rules, but more intriguing will be Fulgrim and new slaanesh stuff as that stuff is pretty ancient and outdated as well. And then I guess Angron with khorne. The berserkers could use an update to, I imagine it would look similar to the knew kharn. But khorne and angron would probably be next year. Fulgrim more likely after Mortarion and both are likely this year.

      • Alexis Muscat

You forgot one stuff my dear :
Khorneflayks will always be put infront and Slaanesh stuff aside.. To get to my point I feel like you, Emperor’s Children should follow Death Guard with like 2month delay, but I’m kinda sure some updated Berseks and why not AngryAngron will point their heads and makes us wait even longer..

      • Red_Five_Standing_By

I imagine we will see Angry Ron before we see Fulgrim.

        • Greg Fleming

I think that all depends on how they have the storyline planned for Slaanesh. Flacon de Mais has gotten a lot of love lately and it sure seems like the Aelves and Eldar (et al) hunting their perspective She Who Thirsts are going to have some kind of convergence. I’m pleased DG are coming next; it does seem that they certainly have a release pace well planned out.

      • Honestly all the cult stuff is equally ancient, but I would expect Slaanesh to come timed with an AoS plot advancement for the return of the dark price

    • Primus Numerestes

probably going to come out in MAYtarion

    • dave long island

Wise in the ways of finance you are, says Yoda.

  • Hopefully new rules and gear will make the Blades at least interesting…But Death better be after dem Duardin

    • Rainthezangoose

Specially considering GW is an English Company. How hard is it to list a couple extra currencies guys?

      • Shinnentai

I personally enjoy the irony of the stock picture they use.

      • Severius_Tolluck

Because as a Gossip page founded and run by mostly Americans, for American gossip mongers, that just happened to gain global appeal… means they focus on the market they are a part. It’s no different for me to wander on other sites run by other countries and everything is listed in pounds, or euros. I don’t get upset, I just open up Xe currency converter and pop in the value…. As it keeps tabs on current global fluctuations in the market.

        • el_tigre

It would still be nice if we warranted the extra 0.8 seconds it would take to copy and paste the next line though, the prices usually come first from white dwarf previews which list the price in all the currencies together.

          • Severius_Tolluck

I don’t disagree, just their target demo doesn’t really care about other currencies if that makes sense? Saves trouble, and as I said there are converters out there. But when sloppy journalism has them copying and pasting, you are correct they could just grab the whole thing.

          • Red_Five_Standing_By

They have data on where their audience comes from. I imagine the audience from the US dwarfs the audience from anywhere else.

  • $130 in the US store is the same as Magnus The Red, so you can use that to do your currency conversions.

e.g. Magnus is €105 in the Irish store, so I would expect Shadow War: Armageddon to come in around the same.

    • DarkDanegan

White Dwarf confirms £90 in the UK

      • Chet Atkinson

Which means about £72 in a 20% discount store

    • Andy Meechan

White Dwarf was incorrect – it’s £80 according to friends in retail!

      I was surprised too.

  • I’m hoping something something was done to bring khorne on par with the stormcast. The uphill both ways in six feet of snow that is the khorne army’s difficulty isn’t a good idea for a starter box army IMO.

    • Severius_Tolluck

It’s like they never learn.. they always make starters where one army nearly has a clear advantage. The closest to fair was the Empire vs Orcs in 6th ed whfb. That was also a stretch!

      • Red_Five_Standing_By

The problem is that start sets are designed for new players, who likely have 0 tactics. Large numbers of models can easily overwhelm the player with the more elite army.

        • Severius_Tolluck

I suppose, but some are not that many more, or numbers are nothing when the other side has vastly superior armor and weapons lol!

  • Jasko

I need to know the prices for the Kharadron Overlords Arkanaut Ironclad, please, so I know how big of a loan I need to ask for at the bank…

    • EnTyme

White Dwarf leaks put them up for preorder mid-April.
