With your army built and ready for the table, in this week’s tabletop post let’s take a look at some starting 40K tactics to WIN your next game.

You need a list to play the game! THE LIST is the common language of the game, understanding how to build one and use one are two separate skills needed in 40K. So just what is a list?

Single models with multiple wounds require a different tactical mindset to play, this video takes a look at just how many wounds vs. single models will tip your list and actually hurt your game.

In the name of the Immortal God Emperor of Mankind, every Space Marine will hold to the end, but are there times you can turn around a losing game?

My first tip to new players is the same for 40K as it is for chess. Think before you act and plan what your next move will be if you succeed (or fail) this turn.

First tip, wait for 8th edition. Whatever you love or think you love now might be completely different in 6 months.

      ^^^This.

I’ve been picking up stuff here and there to fill out my 40k/30k Salamander Marines and for my 30k Thousand Sons. Easy stuff that will certainly still be present in the new edition, but I won’t even consider getting into a new force/army or any big purchases until I see 8th edition.

I await our GW overlords to completely invalidate all existing codexes and supplements (even the Gathering Storm books) upon release of 8th. Should be interesting.
