The Orcs just got a new box and a Big, Green & Mean Troll to go with it – plus the new Team Titan Cards are out as well!

The Tabletop Spotlight is focusing on the new Orcs Team as well as the Troll model – all are perfect additions to your Blood Bowl experience. And don’t for get those new cards either…

Let’s start with the easy stuff, the Orc Team box aka The Gouged Eye, is exactly the same as the Orcs from the starter box with one minor difference – they are in grey plastic. Other than that, I couldn’t really tell a difference and I did actually assemble those awesome Orcs. And they are great models! I wasn’t an orc player before this edition of Blood Bowl but I have pushed my greenskins around the pitch and I happen to like their play style!

Next up, the Troll is a great model to add to the game. I get a kick out of the pose because he’s tossing a Goblin like a baseball pitcher and not exactly like a quarterback. Having grown-up playing both sports, the joke is not lost on me…It’s almost like his pose is trolling football players with a baseball pose. Games Workshop – I see what you did there.

Aside from the pose, I actually really like way this model fits together. It looks crazy at first glance but when you get it put together and you see how well everything fits…it’s pretty impressive. The Troll is also oozing with details – maybe you’ve see it already but if you haven’t the back of the model is really cool and gives me hope for the future of 1) AoS Trolls and 2) a Goblin team!

I don’t know about you, but when I see the Goblin modeled in the Troll clutches, I giggle. Then I think “wait, were is the Goblin team!?” C’mon, GW – give it to me now!

The last thing we talk about is the cards from the Team Titan pack. I really don’t want to spoil them, but if you’re the type of person who likes to have those extras for your team you’ll get a kick out of them for sure. I know a couple of Skaven teams that are really going to enjoy those dirty tricks…

Overall, this was a good weekend for Blood Bowl Players. Orc teams will now have a way to feasibly get their hands on more Black Orc Blockers, everyone will have new card options, and the Troll is here to cause problems for everyone that isn’t a Troll. Good Times.

The Gouged Eye $35

We are Orcs and dat’s no lie
We’ll make yoo screem an’ make yoo cry…

Once a laughing stock, the Gouged Eye has employed filthy tactics, brute force and lots of punching to rise through the ranks to become big players in the upper echelons of Blood Bowl. They’ve won the title before, and they can do it again – a far cry from the early days of the team, when it was a miracle if their throwers were facing the right way.

We’ll pull yore hair and pinch yore thigh…

This box contains 12 ‘orrible plastic Orc Blood Bowl players – 2 blitzers, 2 throwers, 2 Black Orc blockers and 6 linemen. Supplied with extra balls, team counters, a decal sheet covered in Orc symbols and 12 32mm Blood Bowl round bases, featuring holes to slot the ball into when your miniature has possession.

And if dat don’t work, we’ll gouge your eye!

Blood Bowl Troll $25

Do you want to add a fearsome and slightly absurd Troll to your Orcish Blood Bowl team? Or maybe a Goblin team? You’ve come to the right place. This excellent multi-part plastic kit contains the parts you need to assemble a rather large Troll (look at him – he’s wearing a human’s helmet as a knee pad, for Nuffle’s sake), winding up to fling a Goblin into the end zone.

Blood Bowl Team Titans Special Play Card Pack $15

A ton of weird, wonderful and bizarre events can and will happen on and off the pitch during games of Blood Bowl. The best way to represent these happenings is with Special Play cards, and this set of 26 Team Titans cards, usable by any and all teams adds a whole load of extra anarchy.

They’re split into two decks – the Benefits of Training and the Dirty Tricks decks – each featuring a wide variety of extra rules that make your games of Blood Bowl that little bit more unpredictable. You don’t have to use them, but you’re missing out if not!

Goblin Team?! Maybe? Make it happen GW!
