Take a look at just how much the new minis tower over the current Adeptus Astartes range. More pics have arrived.

Some in process pics of minis from the new 8th Edition Boxed Set are doing the rounds.  We’ve all seen the fully painted minis from GW in the last day, but here we get to see them lined up with existing minis to give us a better sense of scale.

Captain in Gravis Armor.

Thoughts

The Primaris marines are pretty tall. roughly the same as current Terminators.

The Captain in Gravis Armor is enormous.  Perhaps this is the equivalent of a Primaris Terminator.

The Lord of Contagion is also suitably massive. This guy makes me think of a mashup of Gutrot Spume and Typhus.

The jumppack rear fins and details of the Primaris Inceptors is very unexpected. It has a very anime “high tech” feel to it that is very different from the standard Imperial fare.

The last image of the Captain in Gravis armor is spsorting some decals that I assume come in the boxed set.

~ What do you think of the new minis?
