Warhammer Fest 2017 – Horus Heresy Stays 7th

It’s official – The Horus Heresy: Age of Darkeness Rulebook is using the 7th Edition Rules!

Things were up in the air for awhile there as folks were hearing conflicting things about which rule set the Horus Heresy would use – 7th or 8th. Well at the Horus Heresy Seminar at Warhammer Fest we got the big news that 1) The Horus Heresy is getting it’s own rule book and 2) it’s going to be a complete version of 7th!

This is a pretty bold step for the Horus Heresy setting. On one hand it keeps the Horus Heresy players happy because all their current books stay up-to-date. On the other, it’s just one more division between the community. We’ve made the case for 7th and for 8th. At least now we know the direction the game is heading – folks can jump on board or get off this train now.
