Battle-forged armies in Warhammer 40,000 consist of Detachments – groups of units who fight together and are awarded a tactical or strategic bonus for doing so. There are restrictions: often, all units must be of the same Faction, and you are limited in the number of certain Battlefield Roles you can take; but the reward of Command Points, spendable on the Stratagem of your choice, is more than worth it.

This bundle contains 3 Chaos Space Marines miniatures with which to field an Airwing Detachment, using multiple Flyers – in this case 3 Hell Talon Chaos Fighter Bombers, adding 1 Command Point to your arsenal.

Forge World is prepping for 8th – are you?

  • 301stFeinminsterArmoured

    Spartans. Just…*smh* Spartans.

  • Krizzab

ah crap, so my friend will use his shadow spectres again.. bad news for everyone!

  • Farseerer

15 pounds seems very reasonable. Will definitely pick them both up.

    • Shawn

I’ve preordered mine, but only got the forces of the adeptus Astarte, since I don’t play chaos.

  • Le_smee

I hope renegade militia are in there.

    • Bootneck

The renegade stuff is in the imperial guard book.

      • Le_smee

Seems odd, I’m just hoping I can include them with my plague marines without having to ally them. Not very experienced so don’t know if they can all come under a chaos faction banner.

        • Bootneck
          • Bootneck

As far as allying goes, I don’t know. But im sure they will be able to as there are a few “plague” options listed which would likely have the Nurgle keyword.

          • Le_smee

            Thank you, very much appreciated.

          • crumbreaper

nuts! I ordered the Chaos one also expecting Renegades and Heretics to be in it!! Hey oh, rest of the Chaos stuff will be awesome and at least it’s not Dark Mechanicum lurking in the Imperial book! £15 is a good price, got the GW Chaos Index on order too plus an 8th starter for those sweet, sweet Nurgle goodies 😀

        • It looks like the renegades list will be a variant of imperial guard, so it will use the core Ig list with some (as of yet unknown) modifications, most likely swapping the imperium keyword for chaos. Expect them to lose most of what made them unique, however, as only the units listed in the index will have any rules to differentiate them from their guard equivalent

          • Le_smee

            I appreciate the help.

  • Xodis

Really excited to see how the SM Chapters and the Eldar Mymeara transfer over to 8e.

  • Xodis

Brass Scorpion rules make me super excited for these to release!

  • Heywood Jablowme

Will the Carcharadon rules be here or elsewhere?

    • Bootneck

Carcharadon chapter rules are shown on the contents of the SM book

  • Leman Russ

does the space marine book have rules for titans anyone know? specifically the warhound? I don’t see them mentioned but they may fall under a category I’m overlooking.

    • Bootneck

Shows it in the IMPERIAL ARMOUR – INDEX: ASTRA MILITARUM under Titan Legions

  • mrbleak

So are they getting out a book for xenos armies or is this just a lovers thing between Chaos and Marines?

    • Rahl

      Later this month apparently.

  • D. B.

    No Captain Korvydae. Damn.
