Zombicide: Get Ready to Battle The Green Horde

Expand your games with the Green Horde, or play it as a stand alone – the Kickstarter is live now!

The Kickstarter is funded – and there are stretch goals and rewards opening up nearly every day. Take a look…

Not only can this be used to expand other Zombicide games, like Black Plague, it functions as a stand alone for 1 to 6 players. Players fight to get rid of an undead orc horde, which is controlled by the game. Learn spells, collect new weapons, and duke it out with zombies to gain experience and gain more power. But be wary – the more powerful the players get, the more zombies they have to beat back!

The Core Set Includes:

  • 9 double-sided game tiles
  • 72 miniatures
  • 6 survivor plastic dashboards, color bases, and ID Cards
  • 48 plastic trackers
  • 6 dice
  • 133 cards
  • 68 tokens
  • 1 Rulebook

  • Harkeal III Brennon

Damn that character wizard reminds me of Freddie Mercury…

    • euansmith

He is called “Zanzibar the Great” 🙂 The Furiosa mini is cool too, and they added two of the kids from Stranger Things (no sign of Eleven or the Demogorgan yet though).

      • I caught Mike, but I missed the other one. Pretty sure that the Marqis de Roget is Prince.

        • euansmith

I think that the weird fish-lizard Cardinal Birmbauer is my favourite mini so far. Of course, there is also Jamie Earl, rocking the Thulsa Doom haircut he wore in Conan the Barbarian.

      • Hagwert

A young Brian May as some kind of minstrel character would make a cracking miniature !

        • euansmith

I wonder if there will be a David Bowie mini in this one.

  • euansmith

With Orc Zombies dishing out 2 Wounds each, I’m expecting there to be a lot more armour in this version of the game.

  • Hagwert

Some really well sculpted female fighters in this kick starter, feminine without being over the top .

  • ZeeLobby

Just haven’t gotten excited about Zombicide yet. I feel like it’d be a fun game to play with future children, but not sold on being able to convince my gaming group (who already plays descent, KDM, etc. dungeon crawls).

    • Frank Krifka

I backed all the modern incarnations of Zombicide from the first KS. It’s actually quite fun, and some of the missions are quite difficult to finish. My wife and I played a mission that took the two of us 4 attempts to beat. We ended up winning when we found that we could put bruce willis into a police cruiser and drive up and down the street running over zombies while our last remaining survivor foraged for food.

Surprisingly, it’s been very entertaining and with tons of replay value. Now If I could just get around to painting the 200+ zombies….

    • Red_Five_Standing_By

I do not like the modern version. I really love the fantasy version. Great characters and fun rules.

      • ZeeLobby

Yeah. If anything I’d go with the fantasy version for sure. My only hesitation is the lack of depth some people say the game has and it’s randomness. Like are there often situations where a right choice will work but others won’t? And are there times when your party gets rolled due to bad appearances that you just couldn’t have prevented?

  • Severius_Tolluck

    Heh.. Furiosa eh

  • Arianod

This game looks broken 😛 Undead or not, no stinking orc horde would stand a chance against Freddy Mercury and Imperator Furiosa!
