I am confused; is, “The Talon of Horus is the beginning of the most anticipated new Black Library series of 2014 and a must read for any fan of Warhammer 40,000 or the Horus Heresy.” some copy-pasta from a previous book release? 2014?

    • benn grimm

Yeah Talon’ is the first one, Black Legion is the sequel (book 2), now up for pre order, released next week (on the 12th according to BL). Not sure why they’ve confused them above.

      • euansmith

Maybe it is because the 13th Black Crusade has been retconned in the fluff 😀

    • GWELLS

I think someone might have accidentally copied the description from “Talon of Horus”.

Why is a thousand sun rubric on the cover of a book with the title Black Legion?

    • Fergie0044

In his Night Lords books ADB points out how the Black Legion happily recruit from the other legions, so I’m sure there’s a fair few sorcerers in their ranks with their own rubrics too.
