The giant on the right looks like Ninja from Die Antwerd

Bit of a “Meh” release week. All releases are nice enough. Generals Handbook 2.0 is practical; nice to have the Alien flora available separately; and the army “booster” boxes are nifty.

What’s the deal with the chaos chariot being pulled by a shaved ape with giant horn nipples?

    • Shadowstrife

It’s called a Gorebeast. the model has been around since 2013, in case you hadn’t noticed.

      • bfmusashi

        I had not, thanks 🙂

You didn’t notice the 600lb Shaven Gorilla with Nipple Horns in the room? 😉

          • Corvak

The whole time I thought it was just Magnus 😛

        • frank

Cant blame that thing on Age of Sigmar lol. though i dont hate it to be honest.

  • Shadowstrife

Any week devoid of Space Muhrines releases is good with me.

The Death models don’t lend themselves well to the new round base format. Death really needs some new bulkier models to beef up their faction.

  • Chris Hilliard

Is it just me, or could they have slightly tweaked those groups into more Start Collecting kits?

    • EnTyme

That wasn’t their purpose, though. SC kits are around 550-700 points on average. These are meant to be about 400 points to fit the Allies slot in a 200 point list.

      • Chris Hilliard

It might not have been their goal, but it would still be nice to have a few more Starter boxes. Having 7 Chaos boxes is less variety than you might think.

  • CloakingDonkey

The 2 Death boxes are really good deals. All useful, playable stuff, too. I’m so ready for the new General’s Handbook and the Open War cards.

That Cairn Wraith is what happens when you don’t lift with your legs.
