New Warpath Vehicles Inbound

New vehicles are rolling off the assembly line and onto the Warpath. Check out the Enforcer Interceptor and the Forge Father Sturnhammer.

There’s a whole passel of new vehicles that’s now available at your FLGS. These sci-fi vehicles look incredible, are relatively easy to put together, and add a great deal of firepower to the game. Seriously, that Sturnhamer is not joking around with those hailstorm cannons. And you won’t find anything quite like the Hultr Half-Track anywhere else–I love its look, like something you’d see wrecked in the desert in a Moebius comic.

Mantic Games is pleased to announce that its new range of sci-fi vehicles for Warpath, the futuristic wargame of epic proportions, is available in stores now! From the mighty Enforcer Interceptor streaking across the sky raining bullets on its enemies, to the heavily armoured Forge Father Sturnhammer rumbling across the battlefield, these incredibly detailed vehicles bring a new and exciting element to sci-fi wargaming.

Armed with a main battery of Heavy Hailstorm Cannons and clad in armour capable of withstanding all but the most powerful and well-placed blasts, the Sturnhammer inexorably carries the might of the Forge Fathers to war. Get a closer look at the Sturnhammer Battle Tank in this video…

The Drakkar’s sloped, reinforced armour makes it one of the toughest troop delivery vehicles on any battlefield anywhere. With a Hailstorm anti-personnel weapon to discourage any assailants along the way, the vehicle is an extremely safe and reliable transport for platoons of Steel Warriors and Forge Guard.

Powerful engines and adaptable treads allow the Hultr Half-Track to react to the flow of battle fluidly, supporting the Forge Father lines with its Hailstorm or Magma Cannon.

The Galactic Co-Prosperity Sphere’s most advanced military demands equally advanced air support. The Accuser and Persecutor wings fulfill this task faultlessly, claiming air superiority for the Enforcers below.

The Arbiter swaps the Accuser’s Burst Lasers in favour of twin Polaris Cannons, delivering a heavy punch against armoured targets in swift ground-to-air strikes few enemies can counter.

The Warpath vehicles are available in stores now or you can order direct from Mantic Games, where you’ll also find some special discounted bundles for multiple vehicles and supporting troops.

I kinda like the look of the Dwarven vehicles.

    • GoodOleBoy01

Yeah, they’re really cool! I have several enroute and can’t wait!

  • Red_Five_Standing_By

They all have a Saturday Morning Cartoon vibe. Especially if you paint the dwarven one black and give it red “eyes”

    • Morat

It’s the glowing “eyes” that are the only thing making the Forge Father vehicles look like faces at all. Paint them as sensible if large vision slits/autosense arrays and you have some reasonably sensible sloped/like nosed armour. The Enforcer flyers would look fine in any recent Hollywood Sci-Fi setting which is entirely appropriate for the GCPS. Not keen on the half track. All are better than that pathetic palette mounted landraider “missiles everywhere” abortion Cancerco have unleashed recently. That managed to steal the Taurox’s crown for “worst sci-fi vehicle” award.

Been putting together my warpath stuff lately. Pretty excited to see how it plays out.

New seems like a misnomer to me, weren’t all these in their kickstarter like two years ago?

    • ZeeLobby

yeah, and then they had a year til delivery, and now the vehicles (cause of the manufacturer) were about 6 months late. That’s how most kickstarters work.

      • dynath

I only asked cause I’ve seen them physically in stores already. Must have been some store that got their kickstarter products a while ago.

Are you sure you’re not talking about Dropfleet Commander? Because you’re describing exactly how the Dropfleet Commander Kickstarter happened.

          • ZeeLobby

Sadly some of the vehicles had to be sent to a new facility, but those aren’t on shelves either. Either way it’s disappointing for those who expected them 6 months ago, or 8/9 months ago when the first waves started shipping. As big as Mantic is, I think this is the first time they’ve done bigger multi-part plastic vehicles, so I think they’ve been having manufacturing partner woes.

        • ZeeLobby

Which sadly happens with kickstarters as well. Our store just got vehicles this past week. So it’s plausible that this article just went up because stores are finally receiving them.

The Dawrf stuff would make excellent Ork Models

  • Slaanesh Devotee

No one should say GW stuff looks like toys ever again..

    • ZeeLobby

Or… Maybe the both look like toys :O

    • NNextremNN

Wait what … I thought GW makes toys???

  • Tothe

I have the tank/APC kit from the Kickstarter. It’s a good model that fits together well.

  • UnpluggedBeta

Looking forward to picking up more of these!
