40K: The Eldar Bonesinger Returns

The Eldar Bonesinger returns in the made to order set, compete with 8th Edition Rules.

We all know that the most terrifying thing in existence is a skeleton. They live inside you, waiting to eat your body and escape. You can never get away from them, there’s probably one right behind you–but, if your whole race is dying maybe that’s when it’s time to harness the terrifying power of bones.

That’s where the Craftworld Eldar come in. With their wraithbone constructs they can keep your ghost trapped in a war machine made of psychically powered bones for all eternity. Which, in addition to being heresy and xenos treachery is also difficult to maintain. But–for now at least–you can get some help with that in the form of the Eldar Bonesinger.

Bonesingers are the engineers of the Eldar. Able to psychically shape Wraithbone, they make everything from light switches to D-Cannons. And now, thanks to the Eldar made-to-order offer, wherein GW is offering a “reprint” of their old Eldar models up until 10/28. You can buy the Bonesinger as part of the entire set, or individually, but either way, this was a limited release model in its day, and who can say if it’ll be on offer after the made-to-order period expires. The Bonesinger comes armed with a psytronome shaper and rules for use in 8th edition.

  • So he’s back, but for a week…

Just mean people would need to convert to use one in the future. Either GW will put up a PDF for it or people can simple photocopy someone/find a image of the datasheet on the web.

For fifteen bucks, I couldn’t stop myself.

      Ditto.

      I couldn’t stop myself two times 😊

It happened before I even realised. …

  • If I had the cash, I’d get one too. I’m not even an Eldar player, but when I got into 40k it was one of the first models I got in an assorted bag o goodies.

  • i _just_ spent $40 on ebay for one a month ago, too…

Once again GW kicks people who buy limited edition products in the nuts. I overpaid for Space Hulk in the past.

    So he’s back, but for a week…

I had one sitting in a corner for a while, never happy with the half finished paintjob. But with rules now (even if GW does not release a pdf they will get leaked quickly) I have finally found an incentive to move that model at the top of the to-paint list. Here we go!

Big fan of this model as well.

Why are the Skyrunner Farseer and Warlocks ‘no longer available’ on the UK GW site??

    • I_am_Alpharius

My guess is they’ve sold through the stock held and the kit is on the cards for a re-packing. Perhaps 2/3 in a box. This would need to have a SKU product code and thus a new product listing. Also sometimes I have seen the website, in the past, default to the wrong stock information i.e. saying ‘Out of Stock’ rather than ‘Temporarily out of Stock’

      • Slaanesh Devotee

That must be it, mustn’t it. Surely they wouldn’t do away with that plastic kit now…
