Backer here. Have used home made wet pallets for years. Awesome tools. Backing as a self-present, haha.

  • Xodis

I have a giant wet pallet already, but Ive been going back and forth on this one the whole KS. Would be nice to have something a little smaller.

    • ZeeLobby

I have to admit, I was a lot more excited when they were selling their re-usable membrane as part of the package. I guess manufacturing just couldn’t produce them to spec, which is unfortunate.

      • Xodis

That stinks. It still seems like a good deal though so I went ahead and backed it. My other one from Michaels just takes up too much room.

        • ZeeLobby

Yeah, in my household I’m constantly painting on the move (living room, office, wife’s office, etc.) so I always just used small tupperware containers. It’ll be nice to actually have a small option built for that purpose. That said I backed the small+larger option, haha.

          • Xodis

I found the larger wet pallets useful when I was painting a lot of different details at the same time. It allowed me to finish a few complete characters without wasting any paint, but yeah it took over half my painting area lol. Looking forward to something smaller.

          • ZeeLobby

Haha. My problem with a larger palette is that I usually just make a bigger mess :P. I’m not the most efficient painter though, and wet palettes have definitely saved me hundreds of dollars by this point.

          • Xodis

Im not very efficient normally…maybe its part of it? hehehe

When will this pallette be available on online retailers?

  • stinkoman

neat. but ill wait till march when they are available.

  • Luca Lacchini

Backer here. Just upgraded the pledge to 150x hydration papaer sheets.

    • ZeeLobby

You can never have too much hydration!

      • William Jameson

Hmm… Maybe in some cases. Though I think then people call it “drowning” rather than hydration 😉

  • William Jameson

Been looking forward to this for a while now, backed as soon as it came up 😀

Currently using pringles lids as palettes. Affordable and convenient with a snack attached, yes, but it’ll be nice to use a piece of kit that can make the paint last a little longer.
