~RATS!  How many people are playing Mantic Games in your area?

  • ZeeLobby

I gotta say, I love Veer-Myn. I mean I know it’s just skaven in space, but they’re great.

    • GrenAcid

      Dem wheels look nice.

      Thats it, sadly.

      • ZeeLobby

Eh, no worse than orks vehicles or models. Sure they’re no Deathguard, but they cost a minor fraction of what building a Deathguard army would cost. The broodmother model is ace imo as well.

    • petrow84

I long to see how they fare in the Deadzone. Those Tunnel Runners are awesome.

      • ZeeLobby

        Yeah. Real cool.

  • petrow84

Uhh, I know it’s an oversight, but please, correct the reserve force contents:
1 Hard Plastic Tunneller with Weapon options
5 Hard Plastic and Metal Creepers
    5 Plastic Maligni
    2 Plastic Tunnel Runners
    2 Plastic Rumbler Weapons Platforms

  • Commissar Molotov

Very tempting. If I were gonna proxy ’em in 40K, what rules would I use? Tyranids?

    • ZeeLobby

Maybe Genestealer Cult? Tyranids might work too.

      • Commissar Molotov

        Ooo, yeah – good call.

        • ZeeLobby

Yeah, I think it’d fit good with the whole flanking/ambushing thing, “tunneling” from below!

    • petrow84

Would be great GS cult – the whole theme is pretty much like the GSC vibe. Subterranean lurkers, who multiply in the abandoned dwellings of the careless and expansionist humans, waiting to gain enough strength to strike.

    • Posting_Avenger

I’m thinking about using them as orks

  • euansmith

These little rats do paint up nicely and easily.

    • petrow84

Is the Brood Mother hard plastic or restic?

      • euansmith

I’m not sure. I’ve not got one yet.

      • Rahl

Website lists it as plastic, however, says it requires superglue, which suggests resin (since you could use plastic cement too if it was polystyrene).

  • dave long island

    Space+Skaven=Spaven

    • petrow84

SkaCe – could be a new music genre

      • dave long island

        One Skitterleap Beyond!…lol

  • Randy Randalman

Lol.. Veer-Myn. That’s worse than Psilencer.

    • ZeeLobby

They’re both pretty bad, but of course Randy shows up to say something like this :P.

    • euansmith

Is it as bad as Lion El’Johnson?

  • Richard Mitchell

    Time to call the exterminator.

  • dave long island

Those big wheels could easily standin as a Doomwheel. Don’t like the yellow color scheme, but that would totes work.

  • PrimoFederalist

Why do people keep painting metal surfaces YELLOW? Awful. Would love to see rusted metal…

  • Myu

They gave them hamster wheels! 😀
