We’ve got our hands on the yet-to-be released Kimogila Fighter – come take a look at what’s inside this new expansion!
Scum players, I hope you’re ready for a challenge. The M12-L Kimogila is not a ship just anyone can fly well – it’s going to take some real pilot skills to line up the perfect shot with this new scum ship:
Now, we’ve covered the Kimogila before. It’s a cool ship that will reward superior flying skills of the player as you can get some nice bonuses for setting-up a bullseye shot with it’s new firing arc:
In terms of new upgrades, we cover all the cards included, but here were some of the important ones:
This is a new Illicit upgrade that allows you to discard it so you can perform actions and red maneuvers while stressed – all for the cost of adding more stress to your ship. Now, there are pilots who can utilize that stress to their advantage either with bonuses or some other abilities. Even a cheap upgrade like Wired helps to turn that stress around.
The Title also helps you generate stress on enemy ships. This can be important as this ship is a pretty strong jouster. If you can use this ability well, you can setup your next turns actions/attacks and keep the target pinned down.
We’ve also seen the two Aces that are going to come with this ship before. Both of them use the Bullseye firing arc to enhance their effectiveness on the tabletop.
Overall, the Kimoglia is a pretty mean jouster. It’s not the most agile ship, but it will go heads-up with anyone for at least a turn! But if you’re a skilled pilot, you might be able to turn this ship into a very deadly dodger as well. Lining up your shots is the real key to flying the Kimogila and it rewards the player for being a better pilot.
Produced by MandalMotors and flown by enforcers of the Hutt kajidics and other criminal cartels, the M12-L Kimogila fighter was dreaded by spacers across the Outer Rim for its ordnance capacity and the withering torrents of coordinated fire it could unleash. The M12-L Kimogila Expansion Pack brings this heavy fighter to life in X-Wing™ as a blunt instrument that trades maneuverability for raw destructive power. Its pre-painted miniature starfighter comes with four ship upgrades and ten upgrades, many of which reward you for catching your foes in the ship’s new bullseye firing arc.
Are you bold enough to attempt to fly the Kimogila? Skill shots aren’t for everyone…
