Did someone say new codex?

Enjoy. If you have an awesome wargames shot you think would make a great BoLS pic of the day, email us. We love spectacle and characterful shots so lets see what you budding photographers can do! Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, X-Wing, Warmachine/Hordes, Runewars, Bolt Action, Armada & Flames of War miniatures photos are welcome.

Now if only there was hope the codex was going to be good

I think there is hope. There is always hope…even when history isn’t on your side!

It is Schrodingers codes. Is it good? Is it bad? Until we open it up, it exists in a state where both are possible!

Looks like a well done, classic style, Dark Elder paint scheme. As a Dark Eldar player myself, I approve.

The Dark Eldar models are among some of the best that GW has put out (the new ones, not the previous line so much). It would be a shame if the codex doesn’t make them a viable force. I haven’t been disappointed by the recent offerings. I hope that there will a few new models to complement the codex.

I find them viable now, albeit in a narrowly defined range. Kabalites with Dark Lances + Beastpack/Incubi. Viable. Wych Cult or Haemonculi Covens? Not so much.

Can we all agree to keep calling them Dark Eldar?

    • Vanders

Yes please. GWs obsession with giving races new ugly names is just stupid.

Does anyone else find it disturbing that the Drukhari codex is coming hot on the heels of Malign Portents which declares that the “Age of Hope is Dead”?

This is not filling me with confidence.

    Power from pain:
    Every killed unit grants +1CP.

    Combat drugs will become stratagem(s).

    Flickerfields grants -1 to hit.

Stratagem and/or relic that denies leaving combat.

Splinter weapons have +1 to wound against non-vehicles.
